Beacon Energy Services near Long Beach,
California, Jeff Davis leveraged two
decades of petrochemical industry
experience to train employees and
establish safety protocols. Jeff Davis, a Long
Beach resident, also holds safety
certifications with the Department of
Transportation and the Occupational
Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).

3.  Among its many safety training initiatives,
OSHA maintains its Outreach Training
Program to educate employees and
managers to recognize, avoid, and prevent
safety hazards in the workplace and on job
sites. The program offers additional
information about employer responsibilities,
workers’ rights, and complaint-filing
procedures. As a voluntary program, the
OSHA Outreach Training Program does not
fulfill training obligations for OSHA
standards.

4.  The program features a 10-hour class
designed for entry-level employees or a 30-
hour class that is more suitable for workers
and managers with safety responsibilities.
Hosted by OSHA-authorized training
personnel, the classes help promote
workplace safety awareness and national
productivity.
