Damath board game is a variant
of “dama”.
Comes from the word "dama“
and Mathematics.
The game then boosted its
popularity and since then the
game has been played in schools
in the Philippines.

DAMATH is a mobile
app that have been
developed to preserve
the knowledge of the
game.

Players would be able to
s p e c i f y a n y of t h e
different categories of
Damath (Integers, Fractions,
Radicals, Polynomials).

During the game, the
player will be asked to
input an answer for
the mathematical
equation generated
after capturing an
o p p o n e n t ’s c h i p .

The current tool that is
used on playing “Damath”
is a piece of board and
chips and papers for score
sheets.
People prefer to download
mobile apps than taking
time creating the game
materials.
7. Objectives
The DAMATH mobile game aims to promote
the Filipino board game and provide an
android-based mobile version of Damath.
8. Significance
This project will help
students develop their
math skills while playing
on a mobile device.
This project will be a
good alternative for
Damath for students
and teachers.
9. Scope
The game may be
played by two players
on the same mobile
device with different
DaMath categories.
13. Requirements for Implementation
5-inch or more mobile devices
Software requirements are at least Android
3.0 which runs on Android mobile devices
with screen resolution of 480 x 800.
