WebRadar is an online media monitoring and analytics tool started in 2011 in NY and Tunisia by a team of 5 people focused on Arab countries. It collects news articles, social media posts and blogs, extracts relevant information, and provides tools to monitor and analyze trends. A showcase for Tunisia outlined that WebRadar collects 1000 news articles, 2000 Facebook posts and 5000 tweets daily from top sources, detects languages, builds a knowledge graph of entities, measures social interactions and estimates audience of over 1.2 billion pageviews primarily from Facebook. It offers monitoring and analytics dashboards, reports and tools to customers for applications like reputation management and crisis monitoring.
