3. Overview and Goals
Demonstrates how to leverage Open Source MANO connected to OpenStack
to:
• Automate the deployment of IxLoad VE test tool
• Deploy a complete test bed (networks) in an OpenStack environment
• Execute IxLoad tests to determine the performance curve of the FW when
using a different number of SIP peers and generated SIP channels
• The performance metric of interest is maximum rate of SIP calls that can be
established through a DUT between endpoints in the Private network when
the SIP Proxy is in a Public network and their Mean Opinion Score (MOS)
as well.
The device under test (DUT) is the virtual Firewall
• It is deployed as a VNF in OpenStack using Open Source MANO
