Thank you Joselyn Todd, Joselyn, 6-12 private school, Cary Academy off of Harrison Ave. in Cary ( 9 years ) I come from a family of teachers where my mother and father have a combined 70 years of public school teaching experience in special education and the sciences. Taught at all levels- but have hit my stride with MS students most think I am crazy for loving to teach them Never before felt so excited about the possibilities that exit in teaching- largely due to Web 2.0 technologies and the same time, I have never felt so certain we have a growing crisis at all levels of education as we struggle to prepare our students for a future filled with unbelievable change. At any rate, I am honored to be speaking here this afternoon as I know so many of you are wonderful teachers and administrators with much more experience than myself.
