2. What is Drug Demand Reduction?
Drug Demand Reduction is a program
to keep teens away from drugs and
alcohol. This program teaches teens,
and adults what drugs are. This will
tell you why drugs and alcohol are bad
for you, what they do to your body
system, and brain. These drugs can
harm you, kill you, and people don’t
realize what they are doing to them
each day. These drugs will control you
and they are going to want you to
keep drinking alcohol or to keep doing
drugs.

3. What is alcohol?
Alcohol is an intoxicated ingredient
that is found in beer, wine, and
liquor. Alcohol is the number one
drink to teen and adults. this drug
is most likely to be made of natural
gas, oil, or coal. The process is
when the yeast breaks down sugar
into alcohol. This drug can be very
addictive and it would want you to
drink more and more until you have
problems in your body system.

4. What does Alcohol do to you?
Alcohol can kill you and hurt
you. Drinking a large amount of
alcohol can lead to a coma,
even death. Alcohol can lead to
high blood pressure, which can
increase your risk of a heart
attack or a stroke. It can also
make your heart muscles weak,
which would affect your lungs,
liver, and other body systems.
This can also lead to heart
failure.

5. What does alcohol do to your brain?
Alcohol affects your brain by
difficulty walking, blurred vision,
slurred speech, slow reactions
times, and memory loss. The
alcohol will control your brain by
telling you to do things. This drug
will make you get dizzy and make
you moving crazy when you
already drank lots of beer. It will
make you not remember what
happened last night and you'll
wake up like what happened to me.

Marijuana is a type of drug that
is a plant. This drug can be
smoked and it can also be eat.
This is the dried flowers and
leaves of the cannabis plants.
This is an illegal drug in the
united states and has been
transported here from mexico
and other places. This is used
for some medical reason, but
people probably want to use it
to get high.

7. What does marijuana affect in your body system?
Marijuana affects your brain
immediately when you smoke it,
sense of perception, and heart
rate. This affects your nervous
system as a depressant. THC is
rapidly absorbed by fatty tissues
in various organs. You then feel
“high” which can give you
feelings. When you take high
doses you can possibly
experience alutionations. It can
also affect your sense of time and
your coordination.

8. What is tobacco?
Tobacco is a green, leaf plant that
is only grown in warm areas. This
can be smoked in a cigarette, pipe,
or cigar. It can also be chewed,
which is called smokeless tobacco
or chewing tobacco. Nicotine is the
chemical that makes tobacco
addictive or habit forming. The
nicotine in the tobacco makes it a
type of drug. This drug is also be
smokes as Kreteks, clove
cigarettes, and bidis.

9. How does tobacco affect in your body system?
Tobacco affects your brain, mouth,
heart, lungs, skin, and your muscles.
It affects your brain by giving you
headaches and making you feel
dizzy. This affects your mouth by
staining your teeth and giving you
bad breath. It also causes bleeding
gums and cancers of the mouth and
throat. It affects your heart by
causing a heart disease and heart
attacks. It affects your lungs by
having trouble breathing and having
asthma.

10. What is synthetic marijuana/spice?
Synthetic marijuana is a dried plant
and chopped up herbs in different
colors. The different colors are
beige, cream red, and brown. These
ingredients are sprayed onto the
plant.This is a drug that looks just
like marijuana but it is the fake type
of marijuana. This drug can be
turned into a liquid fast. This is also
coated with synthetic
cannabinoids. This is a popular
brand that is sold today, but they
are sold under 500 different names.

11. What does spice affect in your body system?
Spice affects the brain cells. some
of the spice will bind more strongly
with marijuana to the cell receptors
that is affected by THC. when spice
is bind with marijuana will make
the effects even more stronger
than the small effects when you
smoke marijuana. The effects are
extreme anxiety, confusion,
paranoia, and hallucinations This
drug makes people got to the ICU,
which means intensive care unit.
