This document discusses the importance of peacemaking and bringing God's peace to others. It contains prayers asking God to make us instruments of peace who sow love and pardon where there is hatred and injury. We are called to bring light where there is darkness and joy where there is sadness. The document encourages remembering that we need each other for support and encouragement on our spiritual journeys, and that God always accompanies us.

6. On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jewish leaders, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!” After he said this, he showed them his hands and side. The disciples were overjoyed when they saw the Lord. Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” And with that he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive the sins of anyone, their sins are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven.” John 20:19-23 Take some time to reflect on the passage, and in particular being a peacemaker.
7. Pray that you may be an agent of God’s peace. Ask God to show you the places he is calling you to bring his peace. Ask God to show you how you may bring his peace to your fieldwork and your community.
8. Lord, make us instruments of your peace, Where there is hatred, let us sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; where there is sadness, joy; O Divine Master, grant that we may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood as to understand; to be loved as to love.
