on the future needs of the fast developing and growing city

idea is following these demands.
In high density, functions will be compressed and arranged verti-

METRO TOWER
The new plan layout for the Sinotrans Plot is the result of creating

a logical link between urban space, traffic circulation, walkway flow
and architecture. For us it is important to combine functional needs
with public spaces, and giving the whole development area the char-
acter of a high density, vibrant environment for a city which still has
not yet reached its peak of urbanism.

All lines, shapes and plazas are defined by the relationship between
urban spaces and the linking between them. The traffic and walkway
flow of people in the environment create the shape of the buildings
and plan layout. The skirt building with its public and commercial
facilities will become an open, walkway through and vibrant sys-
tem, which is connected to the surrounding environment in sev-
eral layers. A typical hybrid building is created.

tells a largely untold story to neighboring communities and visitors.
Site Strategy - The location and program entail that the building
needs to become a center for activities in the main axis of the green
belt. It is envisioned as an enhancer for connectivity, that instead of
acting as a destination, it condenses activities and connects the build-

Connectivity - The design takes into great consideration the build-
