Fans of the ATL Twins all over the world are shaking with
anticipation in the wait leading up to the release of the new ATL
Twins clothing line in collaboration with high fashion label Hood By
Air. After months of meetings and discussion, the Twins and the head
designer at HBA have decided to collaborate and the line is set to be
on sale at the start of next month.
In recent years the Twins have quickly become fashion icons
and have a huge fan base that will be eager to hear about this exciting
new step in the Twins’ career.
Meetings with HBA’s designer Shayne Oliver started last august
and the twins have been fans of the brand for years, but the plan
really kicked into action at the recent New York Fashion Week where
the ATL twins attended the HBA show. Thurman says, “When I saw
that show man, we just knew it was something we needed to be part
of”.
Oliver, also a long-term fan of the twins, always though they
were cool and that they fitted with the brands identity and image and
so was 100% behind the collaboration. “The twins have a day job
man, they’re busy dudes, so I had to just wait until they really wanted
to push for a collaboration. Thankfully it happened sooner than
later.”
Brought up in the ghetto of Chattanooga Tennessee, the twins
have come a long way. Using their unique perspective on life, the
amazing things they have done and working together with the
creative genius of Oliver the twins hope to release a piece of fashion
excellence, but with the ghetto, hood style that they love.
The collection will consist of high quality, high fashion T-shirts
and sweaters with a late addition of a design of sweatpants that will
be in very limited numbers.
