HOW TO RESOLVE STUDENT
LOCKERS PROBLEM?
AND IN GENERAL HOW I RESOLVE
PROBLEMS
1. UNDERSTAND THE PROBLEM
Understand the problem is the very first
component to solve it. Understand which are
the characteristics, the inputs, outputs,
background and people involved.
For student lockers: understand how to improve
the lockers for students
2. OBSERVE
Observe the environment, the context of the
problem to know who, whose or what is
affecting it and contributing to develop the
problem
For student lockers: Observe how the students use
the lockers and what for
3. DEFINE
Once its understood the problem and has been
observed is time to define the characteristics of
it.
For student lockers: Define the characteristics that
are needed in the new lockers to satisfy all the
needs and problems of the students
4. BRAINSTORMING
Now is important to make a list of ideas that can
solve the problem through brainstorming
For student lockers: Generate ideas to solve the
problems in the lockers
5. PROTOTYPE
Select the best idea of the brainstorming and
make a prototype of it.
For student lockers: create prototypes of the best
idea for lockers, for example a complex of
polipropylene made with all the bottles and plastic
that is considered trash.
6. TEST IT
Test the prototype to know if it is the real
solution and has the enough potential to
erradicate the problem
For student lockers: test the complex of
polipropylene
7. IMPLEMENT AND IMPROVE
If the output of the experiment with prototype
was al least the expected or superior is time to
implement the solution.
For student lockers: if the outcome was that most
of the students likes the complex and the social and
environmental responsability applied in it, the
complex results more comfortable and useful, so
can be implemented the solution
