3D Systems Announces Sale of Cimatron and GibbsCAM Businesses
3D Systems announced it has signed an agreement to sell Cimatron Ltd. and its related
subsidiaries, which operate the Cimatron® integrated CAD/CAM software and
GibbsCAM® CNC programming software businesses, to Battery Ventures, a global,
technology-focused investment firm for a purchase price of $65 million, subject to
certain closing adjustments. Cimatron and GibbsCAM will join a Battery-backed
manufacturing portfolio that includes SigmaTEK Systems, a CAD/CAM software
provider for the metal fabrication industry. This action is part of the company’s
announced reorganization and restructuring plan, designed to focus the company on its
strategic purpose as the leaders in enabling additive manufacturing solutions for
applications in growing markets that demand high-reliability products. Given the
anticipated completion of the sale of the Cimatron and GibbsCAM businesses and the
receipt of the proceeds from the sale, 3D Systems does not expect to issue shares of its
common stock under its previously announced at-the-market equity offering program
during the fourth quarter of 2020. Following the completion of the sale of the Cimatron
and GibbsCAM businesses, the company plans to evaluate the continued need for the
at-the-market equity offering program and may ultimately elect to terminate such
program.
Executive Commentary
“Over the last several months, we’ve made significant progress in aligning our
business to our core strengths to achieve growth,” said president and chief executive
officer, 3D Systems. “With this announcement, we continue to demonstrate our
commitment to focus on additive manufacturing, creating value through solutions
designed to address our customers’ unique application needs.”

charge
• Q3 2020 Non-GAAP loss of $0.03 per share compared to a loss of
$0.04 per share in Q3 2019 and a loss of $0.13 per share in Q2 2020
• Q3 2020 Non-GAAP operating income was break-even
• $25 million of equity was issued in Q3 2020 under the company's
at-the-market equity program; none is expected to be issued in Q4 2020
Executive Commentary
Commenting on the quarter, CEO, said, “While the challenges of the
pandemic persist, we were pleased to deliver strong sequential
quarterly growth in both our Healthcare and Industrial businesses of
approximately 20%, as markets incrementally opened around the
world. While volatility continues, we anticipate these trends
continuing as we move forward through our fourth quarter. With our
restructuring efforts on track to deliver our targeted $60 million in

ESI Group: Third-quarter 2020 sales
Third quarter year-over-year comparison
• In Q3 2020 ESI Group generated sales of €21.8m (-12.0% at current exchange rates), impacted by unfavorable
exchange rate trends (-8.6% at constant exchange rate – cer). This third quarter lies in the same dynamics as the first
half of 2020.
• Q3 Licenses sales decreased to €17.0m (-7.8%, -3.9% cer) and represented 77.7% of total sales (vs. 74.2% in Q3
2019). Both Repeat Business (€11.0m) and New Business (€2.6m) show some improvement compared to the first part
of the year. Repeat Business grew by 2.2% cer compared to 0.5% cer in H1. New Business in Q3 decreased by 22.8%
cer compared to 53.2% cer in H1.
• Q3 Services sales, in continuation of the trend observed in H1, decreased to €4.9m (-24.1%, -22.2% cer).
9-month comparison
• ESI Group's sales for the first 9-months of 2020 amounted to €102.6m (-9.3%, -9.0% cer) compared to the same
period last year.
• Licenses decreased to €86.2m (-6.1%, -5.8% cer). The momentum was strong on the installed base, with a good
level of licensing recurrence (85.5% over 9m 2020) and the stability of Repeat Business (€81.2m, +0.7% cer), and more
particularly among key customers.
• 9-month 2020 sales geographical breakdown by region splits as follows: EMEA represents 48.8% (vs. 49.9%),
Asia/Pacific represents 36.6% (vs. 36.0%) and the Americas represent 14.6% (vs. 14.1%). In the EMEA region, sales
decreased by -11.2%, (-11.0% cer), mainly in France and Southern Europe. This situation ties with the slowdown in key
industries for the Group, especially in Aeronautics and Services, and is being cautiously managed.
• The sales breakdown for ESI’s four focus industries accounted for approximately 90% during the period (vs.
90.6%). The Automotive & Ground Transportation activity, the Group's leading industry sector, remained relatively
stable, despite a difficult economic context. While other industries also suffered from the pandemic crisis, the most
significant slowdown goes to the Aerospace industry.
Executive Commentary
“In Q3 we report similar trends as presented since the start of the pandemic crisis: a strong resistance with a slight
growth in Licenses Repeat business together with a serious decrease in Services and New License activity, driven
by customers’ own need to pause some activities. We thus continue to very carefully manage costs. Yet, we
observe a growing readiness from industrialists to engage in or pursue their digital transformation, from existing
reliance on real testing for validation to increasingly anchor more on iterative and virtual testing and collaborative
methods. Because of ESI’s unique ability to deliver highly realistic and predictive simulation models they are
shifting budgets from real testing to virtual prototyping – propelling it beyond the R&D departments to being used
on a real-time basis, in design, manufacturing and operations with high proven benefits. For ESI, this means
continued robustness of the existing business and a revival of innovative new business, thanks to local and global
initiatives.” Said Chief Executive Officer of ESI Group

• Honeywell sales for the third quarter were down 14% on a reported and organic basis. The third-quarter financial results can be
found in Tables 2 and 3.
• Aerospace sales for the third quarter were down 25% on an organic basis driven by lower commercial aftermarket demand due to
the ongoing impact of reduced flight hours and lower volumes in commercial original equipment, partially offset by double-digit
growth in Defense and Space.
• Honeywell Building Technologies sales for the third quarter were down 8% on an organic basis driven by lower demand for
building products and delays in Building Solutions projects, partially offset by growth in the services verticals. Segment margin
expanded 60 basis points to 21.6%. Margin performance was driven by commercial excellence and productivity actions.
• Performance Materials and Technologies sales for the third quarter were down 16% on an organic basis driven by delays in
Process Solutions services and automation projects as well as volume declines in smart energy; lower gas processing projects, catalyst
shipments, licensing, and engineering due to softness in the oil and gas sector in UOP; and lower fluorine products volumes in
Advanced Materials, partially offset by packaging and composites growth. Segment margin contracted 220 basis points to 19.6% driven
by the impact of lower sales volumes, partially offset by productivity actions.
• Safety and Productivity Solutions sales for the third quarter were up 8% on an organic basis driven by double-digit Intelligrated
and personal protective equipment growth as well as a return to growth in productivity solutions and services, partially offset by lower
gas sensing volumes.
Executive Commentary
“I am pleased with the quarter-over-quarter improvements in sales growth, margin expansion and adjusted earnings per share that
we delivered in the third quarter,” said chairman and chief executive officer of Honeywell. “We continued to focus on driving
sales growth in areas that have not been as impacted by the current downturn, including defense and space, warehouse automation
and personal protective equipment, all of which grew by double-digits organically year-over-year. Recurring software sales also
grew double-digits organically, continuing our transformation to a premier software-industrial company. We also focused on
aggressively managing cost, and delivered over $450 million in savings in the quarter, bringing our year-to-date total to $1.1
billion. We now expect to generate $1.5 billion to $1.6 billion of cost savings during 2020, up from our previous estimate of $1.4
billion to $1.6 billion. Honeywell’s balance sheet remains strong, with $15 billion of cash and short-term investments on hand,
and we further enhanced our financial flexibility this quarter by issuing $3 billion of bonds at attractive rates and repaying in full
the $3 billion term loan borrowed earlier this year. Capital deployment remains a focus for us. In the third quarter, we resumed
opportunistic share repurchases and announced the 11th consecutive increase to our dividend. We also recently announced two
acquisitions that will provide emerging technologies in our Aerospace business. I am confident we are well-positioned for the
economic recovery.”

Bosch: world’s first fully integrated split screen for motorcycles rolls out
on the road

Solution Description
A freely programmable split screen that simultaneously displays vehicle information and app content from a smartphone was once reserved exclusively
for premium cars. Bosch’s new integrated connectivity cluster is making this feature available for motorcycles in the form of a 10.25-inch TFT display.
Additionally, the smartphone integration solution mySPIN brings the connected phone’s content to the motorcycle’s display. A representative Bosch
survey among 2 600 motorcycle riders found that eight out of ten riders would welcome this function. The new 10.25-inch TFT display debuts this year
on BMW motorcycles. The display’s new dimensions show all relevant information at one glance without distracting the rider. Users decide on the
content they wish to see on the screen, all of which can be controlled by the handlebar. The contents of a smartphone app, for example, are automatically
adapted with mySPIN to show relevant information fitting the size of the motorcycle display. The split screen continues to show key indicators such as
speed and warnings. According to the Bosch survey nearly 90 percent of riders use their smartphone to prepare or follow-up on trips. One third puts
themselves in great danger using their smartphone even while riding. Bosch has developed the smartphone integration solution mySPIN to make the
usage of smartphone content safe and more comfortable. Available in the powersports segment since 2018 – this includes for example so-called
all-terrain vehicles or personal watercrafts – in BRP vehicles, mySPIN now will be introduced in the motorcycle segment for the first time. Ducati will
introduce it together with Bosch’s also new 6.5-inch connectivity display without the split-screen option.

Caldera PrimeCenter updated with new version
For any queries, Please write to marketing@itshades.com
11
Solution Description
French RIP specialist Caldera has announced Caldera PrimeCenter V1.1, a new version that arrives hot on the heels of the original June launch of the prepress automation solution for
digital printers. The purpose of the upgraded version is to improve the flexibility and enhance the automation capabilities of the original. The software was created to sit upstream of
the RIP to facilitate scaled up production for Print&Cut workflows. Indeed, PrimeCenter consolidates preflight, bleeding and nesting in one tool, while reducing the level of manual
errors and saving time on file preparation. One of the new features that expands flexibility is that V1.1 is now compatible with more cutters and can generate cut files in layered PDF,
the most used format on the market. This means that every element of a PDF, from the design and cut contour to the registration marks, is now contained in different layers. Another
flexibility gain is the inclusion of extended cut marks options to provide compliancy with cutter and workflow restrictions. There are added shape choices for registration marks and
fully customizable placement options. When it comes to improving the automation capabilities of PrimeCenter, V1.1 now allows two possibilities for tracking codes. Job processing
can be automated by the inclusion of optical marks such as QR codes or barcodes. Changes to the new version mean that standard barcode readers can be used to enable semi-automatic
processing.Output auto naming is another area of improvement. Even though the original version of PrimeCenter already provided dynamic output file naming, V1.1 takes this a step
further. Layouts can now be named according to media name, number of copies, date and ganging metadata. The ganging metadata can feature any naming attributes and these changes
will ease the identification process in both manual and automatic workflows.Further changes include automated cropping of images with blank space around them, and automated cut
contour generation and crop mark placement. Operators will save time on boring tasks, allowing more focus on adding value. Simple one–click execution for mirroring and orientation
will bring extra time savings. New features will continue to be added without having to apply for full software updates, while CalderaDock provides an extensive Preflight and Fixup
library. The new File Manager module allows users to choose how input files are displayed to make finding files easier than ever.

3D Systems Unveils Advancements in Creation of World’s Largest, Fastest
Powder Metal 3D Printer for CCDC Army Research Laboratory
For any queries, Please write to marketing@itshades.com
12
Solution Description
3D Systems announced it has achieved significant progress in the creation of the world’s largest, fastest most precise powder metal 3D printer. Through a combination
of multiple lasers, large build chamber, and unique material deposition processes, the Company is poised to enable the Combat Capabilities Development Command
(DEVCOM) Army Research Laboratory (ARL) with technology designed to address their specific application needs for long-range munitions, next-generation combat
vehicles, helicopters, air and missile defense capabilities. This unparalleled additive manufacturing solution – comprising materials, hardware, software and services -
reinforces 3D Systems’ dedication to customer-centric innovation, creating value through solutions designed to address its customers’ unique application needs. Since
the $15 million contract award in the third quarter of 2019, 3D Systems’ engineering and applications experts have drawn upon their deep expertise and experience to
develop a unique 9-laser, 1m x 1m x 600mm metal 3D printer which is the only of its kind in the industry. At the end of October 2020, 3D Systems completed the first
test print, using a selective powder deposition process. This unique concept limits the amount of material needed to produce very large parts by depositing the material
only where it is needed in the build – accelerating time-to-final part and reducing material cost. The build chamber also includes a heated build plate to reduce thermal
stress and also improve deposition quality during the build. To create this next-generation platform, 3D Systems is leveraging key technologies from its Direct Metal
Printing (DMP) platform, which is foundational to the Company’s DMP Flex 350, DMP Factory 350, and DMP Factory 500 3D printers. One of the most important
components is the optical train that enables each of the next-generation printer’s nine lasers with its own melt pool monitoring system for enhanced quality control. By
employing the same optical system as used in its DMP platform, the Company can leverage the existing material library which has been extensively tested and fine-tuned
for optimal performance. Pulling from the data associated with these high-performance materials accelerates development of new materials.

Honeywell Launches New Products To Improve Air Quality In Commercial
Buildings
For any queries, Please write to marketing@itshades.com
19
Solution Description
Honeywell expanded its holistic Healthy Buildings Air Quality offering to help improve and measure commercial building indoor air quality with the
introduction of Honeywell Electronic Air Cleaners (EACs) with UV Systems and a new line of indoor air quality (IAQ) sensors. Honeywell EACs with UV
help remove impurities from the air as well as provide filtration and disinfection, without significantly impeding air flow. The new IAQ sensors include
Honeywell's Particulate Matter Sensor PM2.5, Total Volatile Organic Compound (TVOC) Sensor and All-in-One IAQ Sensor. Air quality is essential to a
healthy building. It can impact occupant health and productivity, energy efficiency and real estate value. The quality of air is affected by the presence of
pollutants in the indoor environment that may cause harm. When IAQ is poor, occupants can experience a drop in productivity as well as adverse health
effects such as asthma and bronchitis. The concentration of some pollutants can be two to five times higher indoors than typical outdoor concentrations.
Honeywell EACs use an electric charge to help remove solid and liquid impurities from the air without impeding air flow. The UV System emits ultraviolet
light to damage the DNA structure of certain microbes at the cellular level and inactivate various viral, bacterial and fungal organisms – thus providing
filtration and disinfection in one system. Ideal for retrofits, property upgrades and new construction alike, Honeywell EACs with UV Systems can be installed
inside a commercial HVAC system, without the need to remove old equipment and install a new system entirely. Honeywell EACs can help save energy,
while providing a better heat exchange and can pay for itself with the savings.

guidelines, the FDA recommends the use of a specialized device known as a “black body”, which enables the system to provide two points of reference to deliver
the most accurate temperature readings. In addition, the system complies with Section 889 of the 2019 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), which
prohibits the U.S. government and government contractors from using video and telecommunications equipment required for these types of systems from specific
companies and their subsidiaries. The Honeywell ThermoRebellion system incorporates infrared imaging technology and cutting-edge artificial intelligence
algorithms to deliver highly accurate temperature measurements. As individuals pass in front of the high-resolution, thermal imaging camera, skin temperature is
detected within seconds and displayed on an accompanying monitor, alerting airport personnel if travelers require additional screening.

Hyundai Motor Group to Integrate Software-Defined AI Infotainment
Powered by NVIDIA DRIVE Across Entire Fleet
For any queries, Please write to marketing@itshades.com
35
From its entry-level vehicles to premium ones, Hyundai Motor Group will deliver the latest in AI-powered convenience and safety to every new customer. The leading
global auto group, which produces more than 7 million vehicles a year, announced that every Hyundai, Kia and Genesis model will include infotainment systems
powered by NVIDIA DRIVE, with production starting in 2022. By making high-performance, energy-efficient compute a standard feature, every vehicle will include a
rich, software-defined AI user experience that’s always at the cutting edge. Hyundai Motor Group has been working with NVIDIA since 2015, developing a
state-of-the-art in-vehicle infotainment system on NVIDIA DRIVE that shipped in the Genesis GV80 and G80 models last year. The companies have also been
collaborating on an advanced digital cockpit for release in late 2021. Now, the automaker is standardizing AI for all its vehicles by extending NVIDIA DRIVE throughout
its entire fleet — marking its commitment to developing software-defined and constantly updateable vehicles for more intelligent transportation. AI and accelerated
computing have opened the door for a vast array of new functionalities in next-generation vehicles. Specifically, these software-defined AI cockpit features can be
realized with a centralized, high-performance computing architecture. Traditionally, vehicle infotainment requires a collection of electronic control units and switches to
perform basic functions, such as changing the radio station or adjusting temperature. Consolidating these components with the NVIDIA DRIVE software-defined AI
platform simplifies the architecture while creating more compute headroom to add new features. With NVIDIA DRIVE at the core, automakers such as Hyundai can
orchestrate crucial safety and convenience features, building vehicles that become smarter over time.

Rimini Street, Inc. a global provider of enterprise software products and services, the leading third-party support provider for Oracle and SAP software products
and a Salesforce partner, announced that Pulse Electronics, a leading components manufacturer for the automotive and telecommunications industries, has
switched to Rimini Street support for its SAP ECC 6.0 and Business Objects software. With the savings achieved by switching support providers, Pulse was able
to divert its liberated funding to invest in business intelligence (BI) capabilities including artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to enable growth and competitive
advantage during a year when new spending may not have otherwise been possible. The company was also able to defer an expensive forced migration to
S/4HANA, required to remain in full support with the vendor, and instead has taken complete control of its IT roadmap to support the businesses’objectives versus
the vendor’s dictated roadmap. Pulse Electronics based in San Diego, is part of Taiwanese parent company Yageo. The company designs and manufactures a wide
range of components for various industries, with more than 70 percent of its products designed in collaboration with customers. Pulse uses its SAP system for
several critical functions including finance, operations, supply chain and warehouse management. As its business operations are required to run 24/7, any
interruption to its operations would mean a major loss of revenue. In order to sustain its leadership in a highly competitive market, the company must adapt quickly
to changing market dynamics. For Pulse’s global IT director, Alan Wong, adapting quickly means having the time and resources available to pursue innovations
that drive business growth and make it possible to navigate this fast-paced market.

Microsoft Teams With Adobe and C3.ai to Take on Salesforce on Its Home
Turf
For any queries, Please write to marketing@itshades.com
43
Microsoft Corp. is teaming with Adobe Inc. and C3.ai, the company of customer-software pioneer Tom Siebel, in another bid to better compete with Salesforce.com Inc., the
market leader for such programs. C3.ai will release a new customer-relations management software program that blends its artificial intelligence tools with Microsoft’s
Dynamics 365 CRM software and Adobe’s marketing cloud. The offering pulls in an array of data from a client’s internal systems and outside information, such as social media
sentiment and regulatory filings, to predict, for example, future revenue, what new products are needed and which customers might be ready to take their business elsewhere.
Microsoft, the world’s largest software maker, has been trying for more than 15 years to catch Salesforce, the top vendor in the $56 billon market for customer-relations
management software, according to Gartner Inc. While Salesforce had 20% market share in 2019 compared with Dynamics’ 2.6%, the most popular choice in Gartner’s data
was “other” with 68%. The fragmented market creates an opportunity for Microsoft, C3.ai and Adobe, according to executives of the companies. The shift to cloud computing
and the demand for AI tools means there’s a desire for new products, especially those that can analyze formerly siloed sets of data. Of course, Salesforce is trying to do similar
things — it has AI tools called Einstein and spent $6.5 billion to buy MuleSoft to offer products that combine a customer’s in-house systems with data and apps on the public
internet. The partnership brings together executives with a long history in this part of the industry. Siebel pioneered software that manages and tracks a company’s interactions
with clients when he founded Siebel Systems in 1993. Nadella ran the Dynamics business for Microsoft more than a decade ago and has reinvigorated Microsoft’s focus on it
since taking over the top job in 2014. Adobe, the leader in software such as Photoshop for creative artists, has been a close partner of Microsoft in various efforts on its cloud
businesses. Siebel’s C3.ai was founded in 2009 and now has customers including Bank of America Corp., Royal Dutch Shell Plc and the U.S Defense Department.

As COVID-19 rates continue to surge in countries around the world, XPRIZE, the world’s leader in designing and operating incentive competitions to
solve humanity’s grand challenges, in partnership with Cognizant one of the world’s leading technology and professional services companies, launched
the Pandemic Response Challenge. The competition aims to harness the power of data and artificial intelligence in equipping policymakers, health
officials, and business leaders with the insights and guidance necessary to implement public safety measures that maximize their ability to keep local
economies open while minimizing potential virus breakouts. Reports indicate that a COVID-19 vaccine may be on the horizon, making the speed at
which populations are vaccinated a key variable in considering strategies for safely reopening society and restoring the global economy. Based on
technology and AI models developed by Cognizant, and using data compiled by the Oxford COVID-19 Government Response Tracker (based at Oxford
University’s Blavatnik School of Government), competing teams will build data-driven AI models that predict local COVID-19 transmission rates and
prescribe intervention and mitigation measures that, with testing in “what-if” scenarios, are shown to minimize infection rates as well as negative
economic impacts. Successful models may also serve as a roadmap for future crises. The Pandemic Response Challenge is the first competition to
launch out of XPRIZE’s AI and Data for Good Alliance, a brain trust focused on enabling and cultivating actionable and tangible solutions to some of
the world’s most immediate challenges through the use of data sciences, machine learning and AI.

Albany International Airport Partners with GE To Transform Airport into
Digital Incubator for Safe, Post-Pandemic Air Travel
For any queries, Please write to marketing@itshades.com

Albany International Airport in collaboration with GE (General Electric), have launched the first digitally-focused airport aimed at demonstrating new technologies to
make air travel safer in a post-pandemic world. Highlighting the announcement is the Airport signing on as the launch customer for GE Aviation’s new Wellness Trace
App, which the Airport has been using to track COVID-19 cleaning protocols. In the coming weeks, the Airport and GE will unveil other advanced artificial intelligence,
machine learning and other digital technologies being deployed as part of this burgeoning Digital Incubator. GE Aviation officially launched its commercial Wellness
Trace App offering in late June 2020, in partnership with TE FOOD and Eurofins. The App, secured by blockchain technology, provides a comprehensive platform for
airports and airlines to track COVID-19 screening for both passengers and employees and set protocols for tracking the cleaning of objects in the airport or aboard aircraft
to ensure they are regularly disinfected. Albany Airport is GE’s first customer. The app’s goal is to have the public light the way for safe travel. The vision for the
Wellness Trace cleaning use case is to build a community similar to Waze, TripAdvisor, and Yelp. The app will offer the unique ability for the public to provide real time
feedback into the cleanliness of their travel experience. For example, if a traveler needs to stop at a rest stop on their way to the airport, they can check Wellness Trace
to find a clean one. If travelers need to grab a bite to eat near the airport, they can check Wellness Trace for the cleanest restaurants nearby. While in the airport, travelers
can walk with confidence knowing the environment around them is now transparent and they can access cleaning information with just a quick scan from their mobile
phone camera. The most exciting part is that travelers get a voice and can become part of a community where their voice will be heard, and the experience is free for the
public. Albany Airport will be the first customer added to the Wellness Trace community, but GE Aviation is actively working to onboard many others right now.

  • 6. Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consec- tetuer Financial, M&A Updates IT Shades Engage & Enable 3D Systems Announces Sale of Cimatron and GibbsCAM Businesses 3D Systems announced it has signed an agreement to sell Cimatron Ltd. and its related subsidiaries, which operate the Cimatron® integrated CAD/CAM software and GibbsCAM® CNC programming software businesses, to Battery Ventures, a global, technology-focused investment firm for a purchase price of $65 million, subject to certain closing adjustments. Cimatron and GibbsCAM will join a Battery-backed manufacturing portfolio that includes SigmaTEK Systems, a CAD/CAM software provider for the metal fabrication industry. This action is part of the company’s announced reorganization and restructuring plan, designed to focus the company on its strategic purpose as the leaders in enabling additive manufacturing solutions for applications in growing markets that demand high-reliability products. Given the anticipated completion of the sale of the Cimatron and GibbsCAM businesses and the receipt of the proceeds from the sale, 3D Systems does not expect to issue shares of its common stock under its previously announced at-the-market equity offering program during the fourth quarter of 2020. Following the completion of the sale of the Cimatron and GibbsCAM businesses, the company plans to evaluate the continued need for the at-the-market equity offering program and may ultimately elect to terminate such program. Executive Commentary “Over the last several months, we’ve made significant progress in aligning our business to our core strengths to achieve growth,” said president and chief executive officer, 3D Systems. “With this announcement, we continue to demonstrate our commitment to focus on additive manufacturing, creating value through solutions designed to address our customers’ unique application needs.” For any queries, Please write to marketing@itshades.com Description 1

While volatility continues, we anticipate these trends continuing as we move forward through our fourth quarter. With our restructuring efforts on track to deliver our targeted $60 million in savings on a run-rate basis by year end, we are pleased with our progress in the quarter and believe we will exit the year a much more efficient, highly focused additive manufacturing company that is well positioned as a market leader in this exciting industry.” For any queries, Please write to marketing@itshades.com 2 Key Financial Highlights
  • 8. Financial, M&A Updates IT Shades Engage & Enable ESI Group: Third-quarter 2020 sales Third quarter year-over-year comparison • In Q3 2020 ESI Group generated sales of €21.8m (-12.0% at current exchange rates), impacted by unfavorable exchange rate trends (-8.6% at constant exchange rate – cer). This third quarter lies in the same dynamics as the first half of 2020. • Q3 Licenses sales decreased to €17.0m (-7.8%, -3.9% cer) and represented 77.7% of total sales (vs. 74.2% in Q3 2019). Both Repeat Business (€11.0m) and New Business (€2.6m) show some improvement compared to the first part of the year. Repeat Business grew by 2.2% cer compared to 0.5% cer in H1. New Business in Q3 decreased by 22.8% cer compared to 53.2% cer in H1. • Q3 Services sales, in continuation of the trend observed in H1, decreased to €4.9m (-24.1%, -22.2% cer). 9-month comparison • ESI Group's sales for the first 9-months of 2020 amounted to €102.6m (-9.3%, -9.0% cer) compared to the same period last year. • Licenses decreased to €86.2m (-6.1%, -5.8% cer). The momentum was strong on the installed base, with a good level of licensing recurrence (85.5% over 9m 2020) and the stability of Repeat Business (€81.2m, +0.7% cer), and more particularly among key customers. • 9-month 2020 sales geographical breakdown by region splits as follows: EMEA represents 48.8% (vs. 49.9%), Asia/Pacific represents 36.6% (vs. 36.0%) and the Americas represent 14.6% (vs. 14.1%). In the EMEA region, sales decreased by -11.2%, (-11.0% cer), mainly in France and Southern Europe. This situation ties with the slowdown in key industries for the Group, especially in Aeronautics and Services, and is being cautiously managed. • The sales breakdown for ESI’s four focus industries accounted for approximately 90% during the period (vs. 90.6%). The Automotive & Ground Transportation activity, the Group's leading industry sector, remained relatively stable, despite a difficult economic context. While other industries also suffered from the pandemic crisis, the most significant slowdown goes to the Aerospace industry. Executive Commentary “In Q3 we report similar trends as presented since the start of the pandemic crisis: a strong resistance with a slight growth in Licenses Repeat business together with a serious decrease in Services and New License activity, driven by customers’ own need to pause some activities. We thus continue to very carefully manage costs. Yet, we observe a growing readiness from industrialists to engage in or pursue their digital transformation, from existing reliance on real testing for validation to increasingly anchor more on iterative and virtual testing and collaborative methods. Because of ESI’s unique ability to deliver highly realistic and predictive simulation models they are shifting budgets from real testing to virtual prototyping – propelling it beyond the R&D departments to being used on a real-time basis, in design, manufacturing and operations with high proven benefits. For ESI, this means continued robustness of the existing business and a revival of innovative new business, thanks to local and global initiatives.” Said Chief Executive Officer of ESI Group For any queries, Please write to marketing@itshades.com 3 Key Financial Highlights

  • 17. Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetuer adipiscing elit, sed diam nonummy nib Solution Updates IT Shades Engage & Enable Caldera PrimeCenter updated with new version For any queries, Please write to marketing@itshades.com 11 Solution Description French RIP specialist Caldera has announced Caldera PrimeCenter V1.1, a new version that arrives hot on the heels of the original June launch of the prepress automation solution for digital printers. The purpose of the upgraded version is to improve the flexibility and enhance the automation capabilities of the original. The software was created to sit upstream of the RIP to facilitate scaled up production for Print&Cut workflows. Indeed, PrimeCenter consolidates preflight, bleeding and nesting in one tool, while reducing the level of manual errors and saving time on file preparation. One of the new features that expands flexibility is that V1.1 is now compatible with more cutters and can generate cut files in layered PDF, the most used format on the market. This means that every element of a PDF, from the design and cut contour to the registration marks, is now contained in different layers. Another flexibility gain is the inclusion of extended cut marks options to provide compliancy with cutter and workflow restrictions. There are added shape choices for registration marks and fully customizable placement options. When it comes to improving the automation capabilities of PrimeCenter, V1.1 now allows two possibilities for tracking codes. Job processing can be automated by the inclusion of optical marks such as QR codes or barcodes. Changes to the new version mean that standard barcode readers can be used to enable semi-automatic processing.Output auto naming is another area of improvement. Even though the original version of PrimeCenter already provided dynamic output file naming, V1.1 takes this a step further. Layouts can now be named according to media name, number of copies, date and ganging metadata. The ganging metadata can feature any naming attributes and these changes will ease the identification process in both manual and automatic workflows.Further changes include automated cropping of images with blank space around them, and automated cut contour generation and crop mark placement. Operators will save time on boring tasks, allowing more focus on adding value. Simple one–click execution for mirroring and orientation will bring extra time savings. New features will continue to be added without having to apply for full software updates, while CalderaDock provides an extensive Preflight and Fixup library. The new File Manager module allows users to choose how input files are displayed to make finding files easier than ever.

Since the $15 million contract award in the third quarter of 2019, 3D Systems’ engineering and applications experts have drawn upon their deep expertise and experience to develop a unique 9-laser, 1m x 1m x 600mm metal 3D printer which is the only of its kind in the industry. At the end of October 2020, 3D Systems completed the first test print, using a selective powder deposition process. This unique concept limits the amount of material needed to produce very large parts by depositing the material only where it is needed in the build – accelerating time-to-final part and reducing material cost. The build chamber also includes a heated build plate to reduce thermal stress and also improve deposition quality during the build. To create this next-generation platform, 3D Systems is leveraging key technologies from its Direct Metal Printing (DMP) platform, which is foundational to the Company’s DMP Flex 350, DMP Factory 350, and DMP Factory 500 3D printers. One of the most important components is the optical train that enables each of the next-generation printer’s nine lasers with its own melt pool monitoring system for enhanced quality control. By employing the same optical system as used in its DMP platform, the Company can leverage the existing material library which has been extensively tested and fine-tuned for optimal performance. Pulling from the data associated with these high-performance materials accelerates development of new materials.

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetuer adipiscing elit, sed diam nonummy nib Solution Updates IT Shades Engage & Enable Honeywell Launches New Products To Improve Air Quality In Commercial Buildings For any queries, Please write to marketing@itshades.com 19 Solution Description Honeywell expanded its holistic Healthy Buildings Air Quality offering to help improve and measure commercial building indoor air quality with the introduction of Honeywell Electronic Air Cleaners (EACs) with UV Systems and a new line of indoor air quality (IAQ) sensors. Honeywell EACs with UV help remove impurities from the air as well as provide filtration and disinfection, without significantly impeding air flow. The new IAQ sensors include Honeywell's Particulate Matter Sensor PM2.5, Total Volatile Organic Compound (TVOC) Sensor and All-in-One IAQ Sensor. Air quality is essential to a healthy building. It can impact occupant health and productivity, energy efficiency and real estate value. The quality of air is affected by the presence of pollutants in the indoor environment that may cause harm. When IAQ is poor, occupants can experience a drop in productivity as well as adverse health effects such as asthma and bronchitis. The concentration of some pollutants can be two to five times higher indoors than typical outdoor concentrations. Honeywell EACs use an electric charge to help remove solid and liquid impurities from the air without impeding air flow. The UV System emits ultraviolet light to damage the DNA structure of certain microbes at the cellular level and inactivate various viral, bacterial and fungal organisms – thus providing filtration and disinfection in one system. Ideal for retrofits, property upgrades and new construction alike, Honeywell EACs with UV Systems can be installed inside a commercial HVAC system, without the need to remove old equipment and install a new system entirely. Honeywell EACs can help save energy, while providing a better heat exchange and can pay for itself with the savings.

  • 52. Partner Ecosystem Updates IT Shades Engage & Enable Microsoft Teams With Adobe and C3.ai to Take on Salesforce on Its Home Turf For any queries, Please write to marketing@itshades.com 43 Microsoft Corp. is teaming with Adobe Inc. and C3.ai, the company of customer-software pioneer Tom Siebel, in another bid to better compete with Salesforce.com Inc., the market leader for such programs. C3.ai will release a new customer-relations management software program that blends its artificial intelligence tools with Microsoft’s Dynamics 365 CRM software and Adobe’s marketing cloud. The offering pulls in an array of data from a client’s internal systems and outside information, such as social media sentiment and regulatory filings, to predict, for example, future revenue, what new products are needed and which customers might be ready to take their business elsewhere. Microsoft, the world’s largest software maker, has been trying for more than 15 years to catch Salesforce, the top vendor in the $56 billon market for customer-relations management software, according to Gartner Inc. While Salesforce had 20% market share in 2019 compared with Dynamics’ 2.6%, the most popular choice in Gartner’s data was “other” with 68%. The fragmented market creates an opportunity for Microsoft, C3.ai and Adobe, according to executives of the companies. The shift to cloud computing and the demand for AI tools means there’s a desire for new products, especially those that can analyze formerly siloed sets of data. Of course, Salesforce is trying to do similar things — it has AI tools called Einstein and spent $6.5 billion to buy MuleSoft to offer products that combine a customer’s in-house systems with data and apps on the public internet. The partnership brings together executives with a long history in this part of the industry. Siebel pioneered software that manages and tracks a company’s interactions with clients when he founded Siebel Systems in 1993. Nadella ran the Dynamics business for Microsoft more than a decade ago and has reinvigorated Microsoft’s focus on it since taking over the top job in 2014. Adobe, the leader in software such as Photoshop for creative artists, has been a close partner of Microsoft in various efforts on its cloud businesses. Siebel’s C3.ai was founded in 2009 and now has customers including Bank of America Corp., Royal Dutch Shell Plc and the U.S Defense Department. Description

The competition aims to harness the power of data and artificial intelligence in equipping policymakers, health officials, and business leaders with the insights and guidance necessary to implement public safety measures that maximize their ability to keep local economies open while minimizing potential virus breakouts. Reports indicate that a COVID-19 vaccine may be on the horizon, making the speed at which populations are vaccinated a key variable in considering strategies for safely reopening society and restoring the global economy. Based on technology and AI models developed by Cognizant, and using data compiled by the Oxford COVID-19 Government Response Tracker (based at Oxford University’s Blavatnik School of Government), competing teams will build data-driven AI models that predict local COVID-19 transmission rates and prescribe intervention and mitigation measures that, with testing in “what-if” scenarios, are shown to minimize infection rates as well as negative economic impacts. Successful models may also serve as a roadmap for future crises. The Pandemic Response Challenge is the first competition to launch out of XPRIZE’s AI and Data for Good Alliance, a brain trust focused on enabling and cultivating actionable and tangible solutions to some of the world’s most immediate challenges through the use of data sciences, machine learning and AI. Partner Ecosystem Updates IT Shades Engage & Enable Albany International Airport Partners with GE To Transform Airport into Digital Incubator for Safe, Post-Pandemic Air Travel For any queries, Please write to marketing@itshades.com 45 Albany International Airport in collaboration with GE (General Electric), have launched the first digitally-focused airport aimed at demonstrating new technologies to make air travel safer in a post-pandemic world. Highlighting the announcement is the Airport signing on as the launch customer for GE Aviation’s new Wellness Trace App, which the Airport has been using to track COVID-19 cleaning protocols. In the coming weeks, the Airport and GE will unveil other advanced artificial intelligence, machine learning and other digital technologies being deployed as part of this burgeoning Digital Incubator. GE Aviation officially launched its commercial Wellness Trace App offering in late June 2020, in partnership with TE FOOD and Eurofins. The App, secured by blockchain technology, provides a comprehensive platform for airports and airlines to track COVID-19 screening for both passengers and employees and set protocols for tracking the cleaning of objects in the airport or aboard aircraft to ensure they are regularly disinfected. Albany Airport is GE’s first customer. The app’s goal is to have the public light the way for safe travel. The vision for the Wellness Trace cleaning use case is to build a community similar to Waze, TripAdvisor, and Yelp. The app will offer the unique ability for the public to provide real time feedback into the cleanliness of their travel experience. For example, if a traveler needs to stop at a rest stop on their way to the airport, they can check Wellness Trace to find a clean one. If travelers need to grab a bite to eat near the airport, they can check Wellness Trace for the cleanest restaurants nearby. While in the airport, travelers can walk with confidence knowing the environment around them is now transparent and they can access cleaning information with just a quick scan from their mobile phone camera. The most exciting part is that travelers get a voice and can become part of a community where their voice will be heard, and the experience is free for the public. Albany Airport will be the first customer added to the Wellness Trace community, but GE Aviation is actively working to onboard many others right now. Description
