Fusion is a leading social enterprise in Sri Lanka focused on information communication and mobile technology for development (ICT4D) and the e-empowerment of communities. From 2006-2010, Fusion Education worked to reduce the costs and improve the quality of basic ICT education for rural students through standardizing telecentre education. The program engaged stakeholders like universities, government agencies, NGOs, private partners and students. It developed course books, conducted training at telecentres, held online seminars and exams, and provided online results and certificates to over 1000 students during this period.
