8. ServiceScience COST TDP
• The ServiceScience COST TDP intends to bridge, expand, and explore these
domains in the context of Service Science by employing COST Tools in order to:
• Establish integrated service perspectives that will allow researchers from the
Service Science sub-domains to work more closely together and reap the
benefits from each others’ perspectives;
• Bring to bear and formalise the role of the platform in service innovation,
selection, composition, and delivery in order to understand and support the
innovation of both the typically slower platform life cycle and the more
responsive service layer in a single framework;
• Reorient existing research, frameworks, and perspectives in favour of user-
centricity in order to allow users (and their personal data) to securely interact with
online and offline service ecosystems with less friction; and
• Create a framework, professional profiles, education centres, and MOOCs for
educating the next generation of European service researchers and practitioners.
