This customer is one of the worlds leading mechanical and plant engineering
firms, generating EUR 3.6 billion in 2016 with over 15,000 employees. Customer
manufacturers and services robotic paint stations which are used by all of the
major vehicle manufacturers worldwide
Business Need
Customer was looking to autonomously manage the quality and efficiency critical
operation of the robotic paint stations at both an individual and group level based
on data from numerous sensors. Customer was also looking to reduce the
amount of data transfer: analyze and aggregate data onsite independent from
the cloud and reduce latency.
