(57) Abstract :
A highly purified and heat stable cross-linked nonpolymeric tetrameric hemoglobin suitable for use in mammals without causing renal
injury and vasoconstriction is provided. A high temperature and short time (HTST) heat processing step is performed to remove
undesired dimeric form of hemoglobin, uncross-linked tetrameric hemoglobin, and plasma protein impurities effectively. Addition of
N-acetyl cysteine after heat treatment and optionally before heat treatment maintains a low level of met-hemoglobin. The heat stable
cross-linked tetrameric hemoglobin can improve and prolong oxygenation in normal and hypoxic tissue. In another aspect, the product
is used in the treatment of various types of cancer such as leukemia, colorectal cancer, lung cancer, breast cancer, liver cancer,
nasopharyngeal carcinoma and esophageal cancer. Another application is heart preservation in situations where there is a lack of
oxygen supply in vivo, such as in heart transplant or oxygen-deprived heart.

both end nodes (server as well as client) by comparing the authentication number and freshness number N at both end nodes. The key
used for encrypting the symmetric key is not transferred through communication link or distributed through third party, thereby,
enhancing the confidentiality and eliminating the possibilities of replay attack. Distribution key is generated at both end nodes and
symmetric key used for data encryption and decryption is transferred to other end by encrypting it with distribution key. A freshness
number N derived at the server side is transferred along with the Symmetric Key to ensure the freshness of the message received at the
other end and also to eliminate the replay attack. The method also provides the automatic updation of symmetric key and there is no
need for manual revocation of symmetric key.

Experimental investigations were carried out to separate arsenic from contaminated groundwater by using three different types of
nanofiltration membranes in a flat sheet cross flow membrane module with a pre-oxidation step for conversion of trivalent arsenic to
pentavalent form. Effects of pressure, iron concentration in groundwater, pH, and pre- oxidation on the performance of the membranes
in terms of flux as well as percentage rejection of arsenic were studied. Overall arsenic removal increased from 50-63 percentages to
97-100 percentages on pre-oxidation of trivalent arsenic. Polyamide composite nanofiltration membrane fitted in a cross flow
membrane module can successfully remove arsenic from contaminated groundwater with a pre-oxidation step.

The invention relates to a method to control the movements of a flight simulator involving linear and angular accelerations perceived
at a pilots seat and involving mathematical transformations of a lateral position y and a roll angle Φ for said accelerations, wherein
mathematical transformations are used with at least one of the following corrections: - Feed-forward of a specific force error due to
the y-position wash-out into a roll angle transformation function; -Decomposition of specific force at pilots position and addition of
