(MAUs) in Asia, from a grand total of 1.276 billion
around the world. That Asia tally is up from 368
million MAUs at the end of last year – and way up
from 319 million in Q1 2013.

GROWTH IN ACTIVE USERS
• Facebook active users increase year after year and reach 802
millions (daily) and 1,276 millions (monthly) in Q1, 2014,
despite the rumor about that Facebook is decreasing.
Numbers say it all:“Users are spending and engaging more
and more time on Facebook”
• Asia has the highest number of Facebook active users 26,9%
(daily) and 30,6% (monthly).
• Percent of Daily Active Users/Monthly Active Users also
increased, from 58% in Q1-2012 to 63% in Q1-2014

• Most of Facebook revenue came from Advertising
• In contrast to the number of users in Asia, revenue
contributed from this area was very modest (only 14.7%) in
Q1-2014
• In Q1-2014, Facebook just earned $0.93 per Asia user but
$5.85 per US & Canada User.
 Asia is an very big farm but Facebook still don’t harvest it
thoroughly.
