The Go Green App had its official launch celebration at Puthisastra University in Phnom Penh on February 9th, 2018. Speeches were given by the Director of the Ministry of Environment and the Phnom Penh Deputy Governor in support of the app and its goals of cleaning the city. After a demonstration of the app's features, participants used the app to join groups and clean the area around the university. The launch was a success and the future of the Go Green application looks promising.

2. Go Green App had its official launch celebration at Puthisastra University in
Phnom Penh on the 9th February, 2018.

3. The event opened with a speech by the honorable guest Mrs. Ngin Lina, Director
of Department of Environmental Knowledge and Education of Ministry of
Environment.

4. Phnom Penh Deputy Governor, H.E Ieng Aunny then followed with his own
inspiring speech about his visions for cleaning the city.

5. Both the Ministry of Environment and the Phnom Penh Governor are supportive of the
Go Green application. Through their speeches, they each suggested cleaning strategies,
made trackable by the features of the app, to make Phnom Penh City more pleasant and
less polluted for its residents.

Green team, gave a

how to use the different
features app, spectators
enjoyed a music
performance by Kan
Pich, original song
composer and singer.

7. The Go Green app
is about taking
action to clean our
beautiful city.
After the
presentations and
music, participants
joined together in
groups and cleaned
the area near the
university before
the day was over.

of the Go Green application is a promising one!
