2. global connections This musical instrument is named Harp Kora which was made a few years ago by Dennis Havlenathe . It comes from Africa . Harp-Kora is a double-sided harp that is strung when it is played. There are 10 strings on the right side and 11 on the left side. This Harp-kora is over 31 inches tall. Two handles provide a very solid way of holding for the player, when playing the instrument. The Harp-kora's tone is resonant and beautiful, with good volume as well. The metal strings and wooden sound box give it a bit different sound from harp-like voice. 6. Sarunai is a traditional musical instrument of the Minangkabau people of West Sumatra , Indonesia . It is similar to the flute in general and made of two different size of bamboo . It is related to the suling of other parts of Indonesia. Sarunai has four holes to produce different note sounds. The sound is melodious.
