
A: Safe blood saves lives and improves
health. Blood transfusion is needed for:

women with complications of pregnancy,
such as ectopic pregnancies and
hemorrhage before, during or after childbirth;

children with severe anemia often resulting
from malaria or malnutrition;

people with severe trauma following
accidents; and

many surgical and cancer patients.

Age: 16,18 - 60 years
Weight : > 45 kgs
Hemoglobin level: >12 gms/dl for
men and 12.5 gms/dl for women

It was asked to DR. Zakir Naik about the
concept of Blood donation in Islam.
Dr.Zakir gave 3 points.
 1)- It should be necessary for the
survival of acceptor.
 2)- It should not cause a problem to the
donor.
 3)- It should not be for money


 Then blood donation causes NO
DAMAGE to health. 
