I , Abhsihek Bhatia, am a Pre-
final Year undergraduate Student Pursuing Bachelor of Technology in Chemical
Engineering at National Institute Of Technology, Warangal (NITW), India. NIT
WARANGAL is one of the top and most prestigious institutes of India. Its the 1st ranked NIT of
India. Having acquired a good theoretical foundation from my curriculum, I have naturally been drawn
towards the practical applications of these concepts in contemporary research.
I am a Chemical engineering student but I am more interested in practical part of
engineering which has been my driving force to Strengthen my grip on areas like Chemical
Bonding,Surface Chemistry, Kinetics and Catalysis of Reactions, Organic chemistry .I Have
done well in past four semesters with CGPA of 8.53/10. I have also done a Project
Work during the past semester where I implemented my theoretical knowledge and enhanced
my practical skills.
My Interest in Organic Chemistry were fueled by lectures on Advanced Organic
Chemistry at my college.I learnt Application of Organic compounds in day to
day life, Synthesis of amino acids, proteins, peptides, Phase transfer catalysis,
Solid state synthesis. Discussion on Biochemical oxidation, reductions and
enzyme catalysed hydrolytic processes, Microwave and ultrasound assisted
organic synthesis clearly explained the role played by organic chemistry in
catalysis. Also I was being awarde an Excellent Grade in the Organic Chemistry
Lab during my graduation.With the knowledge gained through the lectures and my
own efforts I would like to utilize your area of expertise during the process by
working with you.
