- The challenge of the VERCON model is to improve access to agricultural information and enhance communication, knowledge-sharing and lesson learning among and within the human, institutional and social components of agricultural production systems. This is achieved by creating opportunities for collaborative work, using innovative methods of communication and new information and communication technologies (ICTs), and addressing the needs and priorities of the farmer communities as a major concern.
