V-TAS Pro ‘Alarm Receiving’ system presents alarms to the operator
in an easy to understand cell stack structure. Each alarm type can be
individually colour coded for quick identification presented to the
operator according to user defined priorities: for example, a Lone

appear at the top of the alarm stack for urgent recognition.

CCTV is a core part of V-TAS Pro and is integrated within the ‘Alarm
Receiving’ system for alarm verification purposes and to enable
operators to guide mobile resources to the scene of an incident.
Cameras may be linked to alarms and configured to automatically
present their video streams to the operator at the time of the alarm.
Incident Management
Individual escalation instructions can be pre-defined and applied to
each alarm type which will then be displayed to the operator as the
alarm input is received.
V-TAS Pro has the functionality to auto-generate SMS and/or Email
messages at different stages during an alarm handling process to
keep supervisors or management updated with high profile alarms in
sensitive areas, zones, or buildings.
System Integration
Alarm handling from many different sources is integral to the V-TAS Pro
platform – the software has been designed to be simple to use whilst at
the same time offer the flexibility to manage a variety of alarm signaling
devices where protocols have been integrated.

Reporting Capabilities
Each alarm received creates a new ‘Incident Log’ on the system
database with vital information automatically populated at the time the
alarm is triggered – operators can link incidents together and quickly
add narrative to an ‘Incident Log’ with the added option of attaching
supporting video clips.
V-TAS Pro has an advanced search and reporting tool which allows
customers to produce over 120 graphically enriched reports with the
option of creating tailored reports, all of which can be scheduled to run
automatically and emailed out to the recipients.
