The Community Health Innovator Program (CHIP) aims to train community health workers into community health innovators through an online and mobile-based platform providing a planned multidisciplinary curriculum and opportunities to be matched with mentors. The goals of CHIP are to provide an accessible, low-cost training program for community health workers via computer or mobile phone to enable knowledge sharing globally. The existing system allows users to register, complete training and assessments in French or English, and access material uploaded by mentors.
