As part of the 2018 HPCC Systems Summit Community Day event: Up first, Saminda Wijeratne, Georgia Tech, briefly discusses his poster, MPI Proof of Concept. Saminda won 1st place in the 2018 HPCC Systems Poster Presentations competition. Following, Attila Vamos presents his breakout session in the Systems Tools track. In the last 5 years, the Platform team progressed from an ad-hoc, mostly manual testing practice to different levels of automated test system environments. In this session, I will talk about the test collections: regression and performance suites, how to use the test engine in manual and in automatization, our examples of automated test harnesses: OBT and the Smoketest process, and how the automated systems report their results. Attila Vamos manages file data import/export as well as the testing systems for the HPCC Systems platform. Attila touches on the strength of the data processing as well as the stability, performance, and speed of the platform. Attila discusses how ideation and the spirit of constant improvement of the development team keep him engaged. He encourages everyone to download and play with the system.
