Doing voluntary work has many benefits. It allows people to learn new skills like communication and problem solving. Volunteering also makes people feel satisfied by helping those in need. The document also explains how volunteering helped the author become less passive and introverted by developing a more positive attitude and taking on a more active role in activities. Volunteering is presented as a way to improve oneself and help others.
