This letter is by way of a formal introduction to us here at Phoenix T&D Ltd, and gives a pen picture
of the organisation, the people and the professional training & qualifications we can provide for your
organisation.



Phoenix is a top quality training provider validated to deliver Institute of Leadership & Management
(ILM) and Chartered Management Institute (CMI) qualifications from Team Leading at Level 2, right
up to and including Executive & Strategic Management at Level 7 (Masters); Coaching & Mentoring
up to and including Level 7 and a wide range of business subjects with our Development
Programmes and Skills Development Workshops (seperate list attached) – which can be customised
to suit the client’s specific needs and be delivered over 1 or 2 days and more, to meet your own
preferred requirements.



Incorporated in March 2008 the staff here at Phoenix are all fully qualified and not only have
extensive business experience but have a wealth of experience teaching, training and facilitating the
learning and development of others.



The qualification programmes all have measurable outcomes, with assignments, projects and
reports submitted by candidates as part of their studies that will improve the organisation’s policies
and procedures, assist with meeting business objectives and give a return on investment - often
many times more than programme costs.

Our current list of corporate clients is to say the least very impressive and includes a range of
businesses from small through to major industrial giants and a number in the public sector (seperate
list attached).



The delivery of all of our programmes is flexible and customisable to suit both the individual and
organisational needs, and typically cohorts of between 10 to 15 form the normal group size,
although smaller groups can be accomodated.

For qualifications, interactive participative workshop sessions are supplemented with open learning
workbooks, which together form the formal theoretical input with Assigments, Reflective Reviews,

Projects and Reports being the assessed element that trigger the changes and improvements that
are identified and implemented, which in turn gives the return on investement.

Programmes have an allocated tutor who delivers the formal sessions, carries out the individual
tutorial session and carries out the marking/assesment of candidate submissions.

Support is of the highest importance and facilities are in place to allow contact as and when
canidates requires help, advice and guidance – email addresses, office, home and mobile telephone
numbers are provided and we use Webcam and Skype for face to face contact once workshops are
completed.

Development Programmes, validated and certificated by ILM,are two or three day workshop
sessions that are designed in such a way that they can be delivered at various levels to suit the
client, no assessment is required, but a minimum of 10 hours training has to be completed to trigger
certification by the awarding body.

Resources used are approved and validated by the two major awarding bodies, ILM & CMI and the
logistics in respect of the management and organisation of programmes is by mutual agreement to
suit client requirements.

    •   Membership of the highly prestigious ILM Defence Consortium
    •   Chartered Management Institute (CMI)
    •   Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD)
    •   North East Chamber of Commerce (NECC)
    •   Northern Defence Initiative (NDI)
    •   Approved ‘Preferred Supplier’ to the Ministry of Defence (MOD) through the Career
    •   Transition Partnership and approved by the MOD’s funding body ELCAS.
    •   Matrix Standard approved – Information, Advice & Guidance (IAG)

Staff are members of a variety of professional bodies, with the lead tutor targeted for delivery of
these programmes inthe Middle East, Peter Davison, being a Fellow of ILM, a Fellow of CMI, a
Member of the Institute for Learning (IfL), a Member of the Institute of Training & Occupational
Learning (ITOL) and a Licenciate Member of the Institute of Assessors and Verifiers (IAV). He is also
holds the position of being a Consultant External Verifier for ILM providing Quality Assurance
monitoring of a number of ILM Delivery centres, and has acted as a business mentor in the North
East of England for Durham Enterprise Agency on a number of government funded programmes
providing help, advice, guidance and support to small and medium sized business in the county.
Peter has many years experience. Initially working his way up the corprate ladder as well as 20 years
involvement with training and development.

The organisation is staffed by a team with a mixture of full-time, part-time and professional
associates numbering 24 in total – all of who have been selected because of their qualifications,
expertise and experience in the world of business and training and who all have a first class track
record of success.

Phoenix is a top quality training provider validated to deliver Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM) and Chartered Management Institute (CMI) qualifications from Team Leading at Level 2, right up to and including Executive & Strategic Management at Level 7 (Masters); Coaching & Mentoring up to and including Level 7 and a wide range of business subjects with our Development Programmes and Skills Development Workshops (seperate list attached) – which can be customised to suit the client’s specific needs and be delivered over 1 or 2 days and more, to meet your own preferred requirements. Incorporated in March 2008 the staff here at Phoenix are all fully qualified and not only have extensive business experience but have a wealth of experience teaching, training and facilitating the learning and development of others. The qualification programmes all have measurable outcomes, with assignments, projects and reports submitted by candidates as part of their studies that will improve the organisation’s policies and procedures, assist with meeting business objectives and give a return on investment - often many times more than programme costs. (Seperate qualification list and costs attached ) Our current list of corporate clients is to say the least very impressive and includes a range of businesses from small through to major industrial giants and a number in the public sector (seperate list attached). The delivery of all of our programmes is flexible and customisable to suit both the individual and organisational needs, and typically cohorts of between 10 to 15 form the normal group size, although smaller groups can be accomodated.   • 2. Projects and Reports being the assessed element that trigger the changes and improvements that are identified and implemented, which in turn gives the return on investement. Programmes have an allocated tutor who delivers the formal sessions, carries out the individual tutorial session and carries out the marking/assesment of candidate submissions. Support is of the highest importance and facilities are in place to allow contact as and when canidates requires help, advice and guidance – email addresses, office, home and mobile telephone numbers are provided and we use Webcam and Skype for face to face contact once workshops are completed. Development Programmes, validated and certificated by ILM,are two or three day workshop sessions that are designed in such a way that they can be delivered at various levels to suit the client, no assessment is required, but a minimum of 10 hours training has to be completed to trigger certification by the awarding body. Resources used are approved and validated by the two major awarding bodies, ILM & CMI and the logistics in respect of the management and organisation of programmes is by mutual agreement to suit client requirements. The organisation has membership and/or has achieved the following:- • Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM) • Membership of the highly prestigious ILM Defence Consortium • Chartered Management Institute (CMI) • Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD) • North East Chamber of Commerce (NECC) • Northern Defence Initiative (NDI) • Approved ‘Preferred Supplier’ to the Ministry of Defence (MOD) through the Career • Transition Partnership and approved by the MOD’s funding body ELCAS. • Matrix Standard approved – Information, Advice & Guidance (IAG) Staff are members of a variety of professional bodies, with the lead tutor targeted for delivery of these programmes inthe Middle East, Peter Davison, being a Fellow of ILM, a Fellow of CMI, a Member of the Institute for Learning (IfL), a Member of the Institute of Training & Occupational Learning (ITOL) and a Licenciate Member of the Institute of Assessors and Verifiers (IAV). He is also holds the position of being a Consultant External Verifier for ILM providing Quality Assurance monitoring of a number of ILM Delivery centres, and has acted as a business mentor in the North East of England for Durham Enterprise Agency on a number of government funded programmes providing help, advice, guidance and support to small and medium sized business in the county. Peter has many years experience. Initially working his way up the corprate ladder as well as 20 years involvement with training and development.
