Subject Pronoun
I, we, you, he, she, it and they are
pronouns. They are used to take the
place of nouns in sentence. They refer
to the speaker (or speakers), the person
(or persons) spoken to, or the person
(or persons) spoken of.
Those pronouns are also called subject
pronouns. Each of them is used as a
subject of a sentence.
1.We are present today.
2.You and I are best of friends.
Study the examples:
1.My cat eats fish for dinner. ( It eats fish
for dinner.)
2.Sheila reads the Bible. (She reads the
Bible.)
3.Alma, Jaz and I are quiet. ( We are
quiet.)
4. Jedan prays everyday. ( He prays
everyday.)
5. The boys are playing. (They are
playing)
