9. ASSAM: MMU Project
 Scope: Maintain and operate 130 MMUs to provide primary and selective
secondary health care services. All services and medicines to be delivered free
to people
 Coverage & Geography: 26 Lakh population in about 2600 villages spread over
27 districts of Assam
 Team: Total 1170 Field Team Members (9 members per MMU) comprising
Medical Officer, Nursing Staff, Ophthalmic Technician, Pharmacist, Lab
Technician, Drivers and Helper
 Duration of Agreement: 5 years (extendable by 3 more years)

11. HLFPPT is managing, 09 Technical Support Units (TSUs) under National AIDS
Control Programme. TSU is providing Technical Support to State AIDS Control
Society (SACS) & supporting 549 Targeted Intervention in the 9 States along with
all the NACP supported facilities like Blood Banks, ICTC, DSRC, ART Centers,
etc.

VIHAAN Program
With the objective to improve the survival and quality of life of PLHIV-
HLFPPT is managing 36 CSC in three States Punjab, Rajasthan and Madhya
Pradesh as Sub Recipient (SR) to India HIV/AIDS Alliance as Principal
Recipients (PR) through the Global Fund (Donor)
To promote periphery level HIV screening among pregnant women as part of
ANC for early identification of positive pregnant women and linking them with
PPTCT services, HLFPPT as sub Recipients (SR) is implementing PPTCT
program in the states of Chhattisgarh and Bihar.
