11. HLFPPT is managing, 09 Technical Support Units (TSUs) under National AIDS
Control Programme. TSU is providing Technical Support to State AIDS Control
Society (SACS) & supporting 549 Targeted Intervention in the 9 States along with
all the NACP supported facilities like Blood Banks, ICTC, DSRC, ART Centers,
etc.

With the objective to improve the survival and quality of life of PLHIV-
HLFPPT is managing 36 CSC in three States Punjab, Rajasthan and Madhya
Pradesh as Sub Recipient (SR) to India HIV/AIDS Alliance as Principal
Recipients (PR) through the Global Fund (Donor)
To promote periphery level HIV screening among pregnant women as part of
ANC for early identification of positive pregnant women and linking them with
PPTCT services, HLFPPT as sub Recipients (SR) is implementing PPTCT
program in the states of Chhattisgarh and Bihar.

After screening and identification of any of the 4Ds i.e. Defects at Birth, Deficiencies, Diseases and Developmental delays including disabilities, the cases referred to DEIC will be assessed, investigated, evaluated and EI planned and executed in a comprehensive manner.
It is envisaged that the DEIC will bevequipped with all dedicated health professionals, materials, tools, etc. to execute the activities.
Besides this, plans are to be initiated to carry the intervention in the community with effective percolation of the services to the nearest community center.
