Teaching students how to learn begins in Kindergarten. The earlier the student can be reached will assist the student throughout their scholastic career. Accessing Curriculum Through Technology Tools (ACTTT) is a newly developed model for providing access to students with disabilities within the general curriculum. The students worked in pairs or in a team and sharpened their communication skills while they worked on a variety of activities. The students used technology to share ideas, problem-solve, organize and construct concept maps.
Technology is changing the way that teachers teach and students learn. Academic institutions are embracing technology because it is becoming a major deciding factor for attracting students and corporate partners.
