Sargent Rob Wallace's platoon gets attacked while resting. His men scramble to return fire as the Vietcong launch an assault. Wallace calls in air support to push the enemy back. His platoon advances but gets separated from the main forces. Wallace leads his men through the woods as they fight off the Vietcong trying to flank them. They become surrounded and must fight their way out.

Who Indianna jones, the main character who likes to explore and find ancient artifacts. He often finds himself trying to find the
artifact before someone else who wants to sell it for money or abuse it power gets it.
What He goes on a adventure toward south America to find an ancient miyan temple to replace a skull on to one
of the heads of these alien looking creatures. Indian friend tryst to grab all the gold possible but his greed
gets the better of him.
Why The Russian will abuse the power and knowledge of the crystal skull, but in the end it ends up killing her.
They try and abuse the power because they want to be very powerful and make russia the most powerfull
country in the world.
When It is set in 1957. In the summer.
Where In the south america near a Miyan temple.
How The find the crystal skull in the temple that used to belong to the Spanish, who had dicovered the skull a
long time ago. Then they take the skull all they way to the Miyan temple and return the head.

6. Idea 1
Who Edward Humphreys born in Manchester in 1900. He worked as a newspaper boy all the way up until the out break of the
war.
What He joined as a solder at the ange of 16 lying about his ages. He was assighed to the first tank battilan, he
would be the main gunner of the new mk1 tank. He crew were also brand new to the tank.
Why The tank battalion that he was apart was sent to push on the Germans on the western front. It had been a
stale mate for over a year, and they needed to push and advance on the german line. The tanks proved
succesful but there were hugde reliabuilty problems.
When 1916 november 17th, it was raining heavily, and the trenches were filling with water again. The solders had
to make sure the trench walls were secure to stop them falling in.
Where Battle Somme in belgum.
How They used tanks to breaks through the German lines of defence although many tanks had reliability issues.
The german werent able to defend against the tanks and the britsh moved forward 12miles. Many of the
tanks broke down.

Who Captain Alex Evington. She was born in england but moved over to america at the age of 5. She then sighned up to the
usaf, to become a pilot.
What She is a pilot for Americans airlines when she gets shot down of iran.
Why She has wanted to be a pilot all her life and loves to fly. Also, the usa was going over in iraq to fight the
taliban and stop them from terroseing the middle east.
When She joined in 1999 and the taliban was starting to up rise and take of parts of iraq. She went started training
in the airforce on the a 10 warthhog.

How She crash lands the plane after being shot down by talaban forces and is captured, she kept in a holding cell
in tahran, then the usa special forces break in to the prsin and recapture her and bring her home. She later
retiers.

Who Sargent robert wallace was lead of a big platoon in the vietnam war. He had preversly served in ww2 and 3 medals for acts of bravory. He was bron in
1918 and has been in the milartary since 1935. He was incharge of training up his bataion and make sure they were ready as internatioal tensions
increase.
What The us forces launch a counterattack and try and push north vietnam back. However their platoon gets seporated by hostile tanks that
shell the positions as they are advanceing. The squad now of 6 solders try to link back up weith their batalian but they went the wrong
way and carryed on towards north vietnamise.
Why The USA didn’t want Vietnam to fall into communist control during the cold war. Because they were worried about the spread of
comusium to other countrys that they were alied with. The use army kept bringing more troops over to vietnam to help support the fight.
When On 24 of may 1964 conditions were very warm and humid.
Where The Tet offensive, in vietnam where the north of vietnam launch an attack on the south. On this key city called hue. The city was under
fire for a while and the usa had the better wepons and they helled a strong defense.
How The vietnamease had started to attack the south and then southen vietnamease tried to hold off and reple the attack. The southen forces
and american forces heled down the city using most of the fire power and the tanks fring shells into the tree line they tried a small
counter offsive which is were sargent wallace get lost with his squad.

11. The reason behind the mood bored
• The images in the mood boread show the violence of the war and
that battle of the hue partically. Inaddtion to this the huey helecopter
is feture regulary as it was such a big part of the war back then. The
looks on the solders faces show the lack of energy and the look of not
wanting to be there. There are also tanks in the picture and they look
very warn and old, they look like they have been through a lot of
restiance. In addtion in some of the pictures show open grass lands
where there getting dropped off. Also swanps and marsh land were
very common in vietnam and often solders had to walk through it.

12. Video game synopsis
• In 1968 in the city of hue was heled down by US and south-Vietnamese forces. Sargent Robert walace had told his platoon to settle down for the day after being on
patrol that night, they held the whole city. So far the fighting had been very harsh and some horrifying tactics had been used in the war a lot. 11.00am Roberts
platoon was fast asleep, or playing cards trying to past the time. Then a rpg round shot Stright into the wall of the mess hall. The wall rumble like is was sand,
Roberts screamed at the platoon to scramble and get the rifles and engage at will. The whole of the us force and south Vietnam forces both started hastily firing
into the woodland surrounding the city of hue. More and more Vietcong solders started firing into the city and launching mortar rounds into the city. Roberts
platoon started to push to the outskirts of the city, they thought through the streets of hue pushing the Vietcong back out the city. Building collapsing all around
them. The us forces where stretched thin across the city Roberts platoon had 20 men in it, as they reached the end of the city 6 of his platoon were shot dead and
1 was heavily injured. Brian Sullivan was second in command in the platoon decide to call in a air strike on the fials few house of the outside of the city. The
vietcong had held down that position had many machine guns stopping Roberts platoon from advancing. Roberts called for a airstrike in the tree line and his
platoon waited and the planes flew over and strike the ground witht the missles. After the attack roberts ordered his men to attack, he though the eneenmy were
retreating, his paltoon pushed up in the woods with heavy small arms fire rattling all by their heads. The sqaud has more succes than any other squad out there
and the pushed too much and the vietcomg surrounded them. Roberts platoon qucikly thought rapidly to try and ecape the loopthe enimy was trapping them in.
They called for a smoke barrage and the tanks shot smoke out. Then roberts team ran doing some hand to hand combat on the vietcong and then manage to
escape. Unfortunatly they headed in the wrong direction to where the us strong hold was and they got lost. The platoon ran in to a villge an the villages helped
disgises them and hide their refiles....

• What have you learned from your research?
• i have leared that the battle of the hue was one of the hardest battle for the
usa and south vietnamease. They had tanks and other vechals to try and
defend the city of hue.
• What aspects of the research will you include within you own work?
• Some of the aspects of the work from research I will include is other
vehicles which will be either on fire or moving, this will help bring the
video game back to life. I will also kept the colouring because I helps it
be more relatable to war. I wanna try to keep the serveity of the
battle important.

• Battlefield Vietnam
• The design of the game has 3d maps. It has tanks and aircraft such as
the famous black hawk helicopter. The other team have anti tank
weapons and rpgs. The game has two team the use and the north
Vietnamese. There are multiple maps in the game, however I will not
be putting multiple maps on my project as its based around one map.

setting in the woodland these colours make it ideal and a lot of senses to go with these. In addition to this these colour are also
easily recognizable to people as being like army colours which will help if anyone is confused about what the game is. As shown
in the picture above I will use these simple pixcel art characters to be the people you play as in the game. I have chosen these
because they are simple and easyier to create than a higher resolution pixel art, yet you can still tell what they are quiet clearly.
