An important pillar of unit tests is the Mock Object, also known as Test Doubles. They come in many types and flavours. Together, we will name them and demonstrate them using EasyMock and Mockito.

A true mock is a mock that knows how to verify itself. In fact, EasyMock and Mockito mocks are always true mocks. So theirimplementations of a true mock is the same as for the spy.
About Ehcache, version 3 has been out for a while now. It is obviously faster, safer, nicer. Please have a look and give us feedback.
