Presentation given at Dev:Mobile 2014 in Gothenburg, Sweden . The major pain points for today's app developers are fragmentation, weak monetization and lack of discovery. The One Platform Foundation is a global, open-source initiative whose aim is to help the Android ecosystem evolve by enabling developers to easily code and submit their apps across multiple alternative app stores. In-App Billing is available as a one time integration SDK which then supports all major Android app stores like Google Play and Amazon as well as alternative app stores like Appland and Yandex. You can even use it in Unity for both Android and iOS!
