45. STATEMENT
The ambition of a team is for a 21st
Century development which captures in
the design the essence and spirit of
fifty years of Saudconsult proud design
presence in Riyadh and Saudi Arabia
as well as Internationally.
Not a complex or overly ornate
proposal, but a design which is
consistently composed, confident, and
which will stand the tests of time. In the
opinion of team members it ought to
represent the time that it is to be built
and responds well to the way that the
Suleimaniah District townscape is
composed. The new office building
design will aim to minimize its carbon
footprint, and be an attractive place to
work as well as being calmly
appropriate to its prominent position in
the city center.
The new building will feature the
predominantly limestone color scheme
that is typical of the Saudconsult
developments. Building thus continues
the longstanding tradition of high-quality
office architecture that characterizes
record of architectural experience at
Saudconsult.
Special attention should be made to the
selection of interior finishes and art
installations, particularly in entry
spaces, conference rooms and other
areas with public access.
