2. Hypothesis
• Although piercings are viewed in a bad light by
parents and some teachers, they are a sign of
rebellion, and make teenagers feel individual.

3. An Overview
• In this Presentation we will look at the pros
and cons of Lulu getting a piercing, and how
this will affect her daily life

4. Argument One!!!!!
• Piercings can be seen as a symbol of
rebellion, it is important to rebel, as it helps
teenagers discover who they are!
• So, if I get a piercing I’m more likely to
discover who I am
• I don’t rebel, I don’t drink, don’t do drugs, I
stay at home while YOU ask me to please
leave the house and go to parties

5. ARGUMENT TWO!
• Piercings are seen as very cool amongst
teenagers, so maybe if I get one, my peers will
view me as “cool” and then I’ll get invited out
and bam you’ll have to ask ME to STAY HOME
• Wow imagine that, Lulu leaving the house!

6. ARGUMENT THREE!
• Remember when you were a teenager, and
you felt a piercing was like the coolest thing
ever, well think back to that time and then say
yes to LULU!!!!!!!
Yay

7. Pros of Lulu getting a piercing
• She’ll rebel which is an important aspect of
being a teenager
• She may get invited out more as her peers will
view her as cool, thus she’ll stop feeling sad
on Saturday nights
• She’ll feel happy

8. Cons of Lulu getting a piercing
• Some teachers at school are strict and
annoying, but that’s their job I guess, I’ll
understand one day but for now let me be a
cool teenager
• You won’t like it

9. Fun fact time
• I originally wanted to get my nose
pierced, (STRICTLY JUST FOR THE SUMMER)
but then realized I’d have zero chance of
getting that done, so I though about it and
compromised
• And now, I would like to ask you to
compromise your views and allow me to get a
piercing in my ear!
