This would be a long shot to show us the whole scene.This would have being
done in editing to help give us the idea that they are driving somewhere. In
terms of shots it would be a wide shot from the camera.

This is a over the shoulder shot.This will be done to show that the mother is
talking to the daughter. It will also to give the audience the impression that the
mother and daughter relationship is close.

4. Screenshot 3
This shot would be a reverse shot because the previous shot is on the mother
talking to the daughter.This will also be done to help show the audience the
relationship between the mother and the daughter.The background is out of
focus to help draw the attention onto Sara.

This shot is a close up on the dad.This is done to represent that he is not really
paying attention to the conversation between the mother and the daughter. It
also gives the audience the impression that his mind is somewhere else.

6. Screenshot 5
This shot of the whole family would be a mid shot of the family. Again
this shot is used by the director to show how the relationship between
the mother and daughter . It also shows the audience that the dad
seems not focusing on anything that is happening n the scene.

This is the final shot in the first half of the scene.This is the shot is a framed
two shot.This shot is showing the couple talking together and not paying
attention to the road.The scene shows the audience the white van in the
back ground so they notice it before the couple do.

8. Slow pace in editing
The pace of the editing in the first half of the scene is slow because it wants
the audience to feel that this part is dull so when the fast pace comes in the
second half of surprises audience. It creates the normality because it wants to
make the audience feel that the family is safe and that they are talking about
the future.The only clue that the director gives the audience that there is
something wrong is that the dad is bothered about something throughout the
shot. Away that the pace is slow because between each scene it doesn't’t cut
to the next shot for about 4-5 seconds.

This is the first shot of the second half of the scene.The shot is a close up of
the car crash.This would be the scene where the pace changes from slow to
fast.This surprises the audience because the image they have of the family
being safe changes in the space of a second.

This is the only shot of the rods that are used in the crash of the rods being real
the rest of the shots the rods have being made with C.G.I. The shot is a close up
the rods.

This shot is a low angled close up to show the impact of the rods crashing through the
car window screen.The rods in this scene would be C.G.I.(computer generated images)
because it needs to show the speed.Also the blood behind the seat showing a rod
going through his chest.

This is a close up of the back of the chair as the rod comes through the back
of the chair.This is real because the rod is real and the back of the chair
would have being filled with the fake blood so as the rod went through it
would have being meant to show what happens to the dad.

This the final shot of the screen and it is a crane shot.The shot has being
edited in a computer because the blood is fake at the end bottom of the car.
The pace of the scene now slows down again to show the audience its over
and that there is no more going to happen.

The editing of the scene is slow to help build up the image of normality within
the family as it shows the bond between the mother and daughter.This would
have made the audience think the scene is dull so when the pace changes from
slow to fast when the car crashes the image that has being built up for the
