1. After I had finished transferring my videos from the camera memory card through USB wire
into the computer and copied the videos into the hard drive. I started using „‟Adobe Premiere
Elements 9‟‟ To select the videos I want to view, I clicked on the „‟get media‟‟ (arrow black)
and clicked on a folder called „‟files and folders‟‟ and where all my videos and music come up,
from there I select the video I want. For example (arrow red) Is a scene of doing Mustafa faux-
found footage, I am going to import this scene into my trailer.

2. Before I started to edit my trailer, I
organised myself by putting my
videos into category. For example
the „‟school‟‟ folder, I have scenes
that we filmed in the school
premises. By organising myself
like this, it makes it easy for me to
find videos I am looking for. I had
also included a folder of videos I
don‟t intend to use.

3. My first clip is a picture of my own
design of an intuitional logo, I did
because its important to include
intuitional logo in trailers and at the
beginning of films because it
acknowledgement. Then I dragged it
into the timeline (Shown here)
I had also imported its own
music to really make my
institution logo effective.

4. This is my establishing shot that I had
included in my trailer. I had to trim it
because it was filmed for few seconds
longer than I am it to.

5. This clip the actual first clip of introducing the
equilibrium of my trailer. This is a clip of Ava
(Played by Dardana) laughing at something Jack
(Played by Mustafa) had said. I had added music
(arrow purple) „‟Moonlight by sonata‟‟ This is a
music played on the piano, on this clip the music is
calm and smooth.
At the end of the above
clip, I have added key
frame so that the clip
fades into the next clip, I
had carried out this
progress because I
wanted to make it more
effective.
On this clip, the
beat of the music
slightly starts to get
bit past.

6. To add text onto my trailer, I click on a empty
space on the timeline, then click on the “timeline”
on the navigation bar. From there I had pressed
“new title” and then “default still” (Shown on
picture one)
(Shown on picture two) A box comes out (arrow, on
there is where I write the text I want to. (arrow red)
shows the text potions, this allows me to change the
font of the text. (Arrow purple) is the different types of
style, you can change your text to.
This is my first text, that I had included in my trailer, I
had to grab my target audience attention by asking them
a question that makes them think „‟ Have you ever
wanted someone so much that it hurts to see them with
anyone‟‟ I had chosen to use white text and black
background because it helps it to stand out.

7. This text was the introducing of the
distribution of the equilibrium, yet again I
had made my text simple but effective by
the wordings as well as the music being
slow pace at the beginning of the text and by
the end of text the music gets disturbing.
This clip is the actual distribution, where Jack
(Played by Mustafa) gets mad at Ava (played by
Dardana) about something that‟s irrelevant and starts
to shout and hit Ava. Here we hear diegetic sound
(Them speaking) and non-diegetic sound (music in
the background).
On this clip, the music gets really
gets up tempo, I‟ve done this
because I wanted to make the trailer
exciting.

8. I had used this clip in my trailer but had made it invisible to
audience because I just wanted the heavy breathing Jack (Played
by Mustafa) was making. I had made it invisible by dragging the
yellow line (arrow red) all the down until the screen was black
(arrow purple), the music and the breathing have combined well
together. The black screen and the heavy breathing scene had
helped me to make an enigma code for my audience.

9. I had chosen this clip to be my final clip because it
sets the enigma code for the scene and also it‟s like
a cliff-hanger for my audience.
I gave my trailer a different title name
to my group, because I believe this
title is more suitable to the narrative.

10. After uploading my video, I had realised that I‟ve done a
spelling mistake. I will call this video I uploaded a
“draft” and go back on the adobe elements 9 to re-
change it, as well as including a release date and shorting
how long the trailer runs for, because my trailer is
originally meant to run for 1:50seconds but on this draft
its on for 3:19seconds.

11. I hadn't used this clip in my trailer because the camera
was shaky even though we had used the dolly. Also I
had thought this clip nothing to with the narrative of the
trailer.
