Industrial goods are those an industry uses to produce an
end product from raw materials.
Advertising is a large sector ranging from creative agencies
to sales departments. There are 15,000 companies with
over 250,000 employees working in advertising. Advertising
and marketing annually generates more than six billion in
the UK economy.
2. Abbotts Mead Vickors BBDO
AMV BBDO is an advertising agency and subsidiary
of Omnicom Group, that works with over 85 brands
including: BT, BlackBerry, Sainsbury’s, Aviva, Walkers
and Mars. AMV campaigns may incorporate
digital, social, experiential, print or broadcast
media. The revenue makes this advertising agency
the biggest in the UK, and has been since 1997.
They have no ownership.
3. Bartle Bogle Hegarty
Bartle Bogle Hegarty is a British advertising agency
and are notable for their advertising campaigns of the
last thirty years. It has seven offices worldwide which
are in: London, New York, Los
Angeles, Singapore, Shanghai, Mumbai and Sao
Paulo. They employ more than 900 staff globally. They
have no ownership. BBH have worked for brands such
as Audi, Vodafone and Levi Straus and have recently
opened a ‘marketing skunkworks’ division called BBH
Labs.
