2. Overview for Upcoming Unit The following presentation will inform you on what we will be doing the next few weeks in class. 14. Role of Teacher As the teacher, I will be shaping the class into critical thinkers. I will be holding conferences with students twice a week. Even though I will be present at all times, I will encourage students to think through their problems before turning to me for help. However, I will be helping whenever needed! Also, all the supplies needed for this project will be provided by the school. Give a special thanks to our principal!

16. Benefits of Unit This unit will let your child express their imaginations while still learning. Students will be gaining 21st Century skills which will stay with them from here on out. This unit will also bring you (the parents) into the classroom to see what your child is working on.
17. Standards for this Unit Mth.4.2. Students will write money amounts in words and in dollar-and-cent notation. Mth.4.15.They will also represent categorical data using tables and graphs.
