For the Riser. The

by sight. Cut the edges to an
angle that you Prefer, and
then sand them. Until it’s

5. Step 3
This is the fun part! This is
where you can get as
creative as you want.
Staining or painting your bow
does not affect the Finished

bow. I used a Foam Paint
Brush, and Put Two layers of
stain on the wood. So have

Step 4
To Varnish the wood you need a
Foam Paint brush. Start by
spreading a Thin layer of
varnish, You will need to do one
side at a time (This will require
Patience). After every layer
sanding will be required. You
need at least Four Layers of
Varnish on the wood.

String.
Step 5
The limbs are placed on top of
the riser. Where you created
your desired angle. Push the
bolts into the holes in the limbs,
and riser. Secure them with a
nut. Using a Screwdriver tighten
the bolts so your limbs won’t
move around. Make sure that
they are very secure.
WARNING:
1. Watch your wood, so it doesn't
crack.

8. Items Needed:
Limbs
Riser
Nuts and Bolts
String.
Step 5
Continued...
Now the string is the tricky part. This took
me a while to put on. I bought a 60 inch
string, but if I were to do it again; I would
recommend a 58 inch string. Here is the
instructions to make your own string:
Tie Two loops in your string. From the end
of one loop to the other it should be 58
inches. The Loop should be very tight so
that when you push it down it will seat in
the groove. If the string is too long twist
the string and it will become shorter. This
is the hard part. The string needs to be
tight! You may require someone to help
you.
