CARDIOVASCULAR??
• An abnormal function of the heart.
• It covers all diseases and conditions of the heart and blood vessels
• It refers to any disease that affects the cardiovascular system,
principally cardiac disease, vascular diseases of the brain and
kidney, and peripheral arterial disease.
• It remain the biggest cause of deaths worldwide, though over the
last two decades, cardiovascular mortality rates have declined in
many high-income countries.

5. HOW TO PREVENT??
• Eat a healthy, balanced diet that is low in salt and
saturated fat
• Take regular exercise
• Keep your weight the healthy range (use the BMI tool to
check whether you are a healthy weight)
• If you smoke, stop smoking.
• Don’t drink too much alcohol
• Controlling blood glucose level (if have diabetes)
