Mundra Port is located in the north of Gulf of
Kutch, Gujarat.
Draft ranges from 15 to 32 meters.
It has 8 multipurpose berths.
It is capable of handling Super Post Panamax and
Capesize.
Port has SPM which is capable of handling VLCCs and
ULCCs.
It Exports Clinker, Salt, Automobile, Container etc.
Imports are Coal, Iron Ore, Mineral, Containers, Fertilizer,
etc.
4. HISTORY
The Adani Group was founded in the year 1988 under the
leadership of Gautam Adani.
Company was incorporated as Gujarat Adani Port Limited
May 26, 1998.
The name of Company was changed to Mundra Port on
July 7, 2006.
It is one of the largest privately managed port in India,
promoted by Adani Group.
