1. HA3 – Task 6: Planning To Do List
Pick a platform, Identify the Technique, Promote the app, Earn Money
Many developers with successful apps started out on one platform, and then
spread to others when the app sold well. The iPhone clearly has the most apps
by far; although some of them are…well, crap. And plenty of iPhone app
developers have some not-so-nice things to say about how Apple runs the
store.
As I have selected my app idea that I came up with that ‘Song Maker’.
For this I’ve planned the following tasks on which the design of the app is
based on:
There’s more to this than just designing the app. I need a website that I’ll
have to advertise my app on. I do need a well-written description that
will convince people to become customers and a good promotion
system.
Research similar apps over the internet, books, apple devices.
Design the major fonts of the app.
Design a suitable image for the title.
Design the main menu Interface.
Design a basic colour which will go throughout the app.
Create a suitable music tune to assist the app experience.
Design the icons and assets that I’m going to be using in the app.
Identify the audience needs i.e. describe the genre of the app. Explain if
the app is going to be social, gaming, business, Lifestyle, Education,
Entertainment, Finance, Any!
Make sure the price is right:
1. £0.99 is not the key to success.
2. Quality apps with a comparably high price range make the real
money.
3. If no one complains about the price, it’s probably too low.
