being under the influence of any substance increases the chances of
getting hurt.
ï” Parents should aware and educate their kids when theyâre young and
scared of big kids. Teach them how to handle the situations.
ï” Parents can also be a bad influence their kids, like drinking a lot when
theyâre around or even worse, buying their kid the alcohol when they
are going out to a party.

ï” Drugs changes our mood, feelings and behaviour. If we overdose of it
can severely harm our bodies. Alcohol is a drug.
ï” Drugs kill more people than alcohol-even though seven times more
people use alcohol than use drugs.
ï” The most common types of drugs are in these 4 categories: stimulants,
depressants, hallucinogenics and opioids. They each have different
effects but all are harmful to your body.
ï” Drugs affect the way your body functions, but also, using drugs put you
in a high risk of dying if overdosed.

have challenges you have to face live having to say ânoâ to drugs
when everyone in your group is pressuring you to say âyesâ
ï” People think it looks attractive and fun and high school students get
caught up in the peer pressure. Theyâre curious, they believe you will
feel better, reduce stress or they just want to feel older.
ï” Respect your body. Your peers can be a bad influence on you, just
stay strong and true to who you are.
