2. “Día de los niños Héroes”September 13th This event happens during the battle of Mexico against USA; and it is called “Batalla de Chapultepec.” Six of the many soldiers who were staying and practicing in the “Castillo de Chapultepec” died for the cause in order to save its country.
3. “Día de la Independencia”September 16th Itstarted at midnight of the 15th in 1810 withthe “Grito de Dolores.” Movement led by Father Miguel Hidalgo who fought for a free and independent Mexico. Ignacio Allende also led the movement and the war lasted almost 11 years until Mexico was proclaimed an independent country.
4. “Revolución Mexicana”November 20th Since that date in 1910 the revolution against PorfirioDíaz started; because he had been in power for over 30 years. The movement was started by Madero, who supported the “no re-election.” They exiled Díaz and Madero was elected president.
