The Promethean Board


 A program on the Promethean Board
Students love to use the Promethean

  Board. It allows them to learn how to use
  technology.
 Teacher models one example, then the
  students do the rest.
 The students use the pen to drag the
  words out of a hat and place them in
  the correct column.
For this particular activity, you can give

  the students a list of words and have
  them sort them on a worksheet.
 The use of technology enhances student
  learning.
 The use of the Promethean Board can
  be a management tool. If they are
  misbehaving, then they won’t use the
  board.
Technology is a tool being used to help

  achieve the learning task.
 Students already knew how to use the
  technology better than I did.
If the Promethean Board wasn’t used,

  this task would take longer.
 Students become familiar with using
  technology.
 Done as a whole group activity, so other
  students can help each other.
 Without the use of technology, teacher
  doesn’t know what the student is
  thinking.

Technology Integration Report

  • 3. The Promethean Board   Mac laptop  A program on the Promethean Board
  • 4. Students love to use the Promethean  Board. It allows them to learn how to use technology.  Teacher models one example, then the students do the rest.  The students use the pen to drag the words out of a hat and place them in the correct column.
  • 5. For this particular activity, you can give  the students a list of words and have them sort them on a worksheet.  The use of technology enhances student learning.  The use of the Promethean Board can be a management tool. If they are misbehaving, then they won’t use the board.
