Parting styles and its impact of child behavior is core phenomena of behavioral science that needs specific attention from researcher and practitioner around the globe. The purpose of present qualitative study is to explore the new trend of parenting style emerging in the society and their impact on child behaviors by using unstructured interviews trough homogeneous sampling of parents located in Islamabad and native areas. The data gathered from unstructured interviews was transcribed and processed through thematic analysis using NVivo 10 software. The findings of study reveal the notion that ultimately behavior of child depends upon parenting style and many factors contribute in shaping parenting style that may be external environment, support, love, affection and opportunities. Effective communication is the ultimately outcome that is effective among majority of parents and that can be used by parents in accessing their child behavior and adjusting their parenting strategies

Part 1 11-year-old son has been suspended from school numerous times for fighting. He just can't seem to get along with other children. Dear Journal, I have been told that my 11-year-old son got suspended from his school for not getting along with other students. I’m concern about his well being, and I want him to build his confidence before he breaks down and lose control. What we work on before got him suspended did not work. I will like to have him go to another school and remove himself from the previous environment to a new environment. To let him know it is okay to start over again, have a fresh start, and make new friends and a new beginning. Let him know that we are not running away from the bullies and me as the parents I’m doing everything in my power to make this work. I love him, and I’m willing to do everything for him to start a new chapter in his life. I will like to help him in so many ways but do not know where to start. So, I and my wife have looked up a few websites where they can help us together to guide him in the right directions. My first choice is to remove him from the old school and transfer him to a new school (Facebook). Secondly, keep him occupied such learning a new skill or trade like mixed martial arts, swimming or anything he likes to learn and such as a chess club or boy scouts. Third, have him counsel by a psychologist to see if there any mental problems I should be concern about, if so what can we as the parents can do to help him excel in his life. Fourth, have more bonding relationship with him such as road trips, vacation, and watch movies with his new friends or watch a Broadway play together. Finally, continue the religious belief to love his God, and most of all love yourself first. I hope and pray everything will work out fine with us a family. I willing to do anything for him to succeed, most of all encourage him, motivated him and build self-confidence and self-discipline to my little champ. Part 2 Suspension of Son from School Scenario: 11-year-old son has been suspended from school numerous times for fighting. He just can't seem to get along with other children. Suspension of Son from School A suspension from school implies that a youngster is briefly prohibited from going to school for a timeframe, enduring somewhere in the range of one day to a week or more, as a discipline for poor/awful conduct and improper behavior. Some of the time a suspension is issued for the infraction; different circumstances, it is rendered after proceeded with troublesome or resistant behavior when different strategies for train have fizzled (Iselin, 2010). The student’s performance is a reflection of the parents. High expectations conducts are vital in helping youngsters to feel safe and learn well, and the guardians and parents have a key impact on this. The legislature encourages schools to concentrate on advancing optimistic conduct, building self-restraint and empowering regard for others. Be that.

FAMILY INTERVIEW The Parent of a Child with an Exceptionality Wichita State University Spring 2021 CI 401 XXXXXXXX 1 Introduction As an educator, learning about our students and their lives is imperative to our jobs. Every child comes from a different background, and every child and every background are unique. Every family is different, and in order to fully understand the students in our care, we need to also understand their families, (Friend and Cook, 2017, p. 267). One type of student that I need a deeper understanding of is a student who has an identified exceptionality. A student with an exceptionality is any student who has a disability or giftedness that requires additional services in an educational setting. More specifically, a disability could be characterized as limitations imposed on an individual including, but not limited to, physical, cognitive, sensory, emotional, or learning limitations. In order to learn more about the family life of a child with an exceptionality, I interviewed the mother of a student who is developmentally delayed. Methods The child who I was interested in learning more about is a kindergarten student at Gammon Elementary School in Wichita, KS. I was able to sit in on the student’s annual Individualized Education Program (IEP) meeting, which was attended by the mother via Zoom. After which, I was able to conduct my interview with her about her son. I met with her virtually on March 16, 2021 for about thirty minutes. Gammon’s special education teacher joined the 2 meeting as well to help facilitate the conversation. I first started by acquiring some background information about the student’s mother and their family. She is a single mother, the father is, at the mother’s insistence, completely out of the picture. She has two children, a daughter who is in 2nd grade, and a son, who is the kindergartener and the focus of the interview. She is 28 years old and has lived in Wichita all her life. She works for Phoenix Home Care and Hospice and is in the process of pursuing her nursing degree and medication aid certificate at WSU Tech. They are a low-income, African American family, and the mother was very shy during her IEP meeting and during the interview. I was told that this is common for her and her demeanor. Having the special education teacher present for our meeting likely made the mother feel more comfortable, considering that they have an established relationship. Prior to the interview, the special education teacher approached the mother on my behalf and gave her the consent form to participate in the process. The special education teacher also went through the list of potential questions that I had given her, and she picked out the questions that she thought would be appropriate to ask, given the mother’s background and personality. She often gets anxious whenever her efforts are not praised by adults, her peers give her the least interesting roles in dramatic play causing her to get exhausted, she is picked up by a neighbor and not her mother who only brings her to school then gets busy with Simone’s infant sister and does not have time to stay, lastly, her father is yet to bring her to school. All these factors lead to her teachers’ concerns about her next class because developmentally she is not attached to adults and also not valued. In my opinion, I believe that developing positive self-esteem is essential for overall success in life. A child with a higher sense of self-esteem makes friends easily, adapts to change, can play on their own. On the contrary, negative self-esteem leads to people situations not working out well for them and lack of self-esteem raises doubts due to flattery. Children that have low self-esteem are more likely to develop depression, mental health issues, anxiety and a reduced sense of purpose and belonging.
