3. Digital Video Editing
Since the 1950’s, people have been makeup
homemade videos. Now there are digital
camcorders, which allow users to put their
videos on computers. Now users can edit and
view much easier.
4. Digital Video Editing
Digital video editing is much simpler than a lot
of people think. There are now programs out
making it easy to use and accessible to many
people. Mac has a great program:

How does this relate to education?
First, technology is always evolving, and
children need to be prepared for our now
technological society. It also makes learning
more fun, since it is hands on. Teachers kill
two birds with one stone, because not only
are they learning what they’re filming, but
they’re also learning how to digitally edit.

6. Online scrapbooking
Online scrapbooking is another emerging
technology. As more and more people switch
to digital photography, online scrapbooking
makes it easy to organize pictures in a creative
way.
7. Online scrapbooking
Many people find normal scrapbooking to be
too time consuming. In online
scrapbooking, no scissors required! Here is a
great site to check out: www.smilebox.com
8. Reflection
Online scrapbooking would be a fun end of the
year project at many schools. It could be a
way for students to reflect on their past year.
Teachers throughout the year could take
pictures, then each child could learn to upload
and create their very own scrapbook. This
also cuts down on cost- it’s free!

9. Story telling
This is a very creative way to get children's
minds working. Whether it is at home, or in
the classroom, kids will enjoy making their
own story and watching it move!
10. Story telling
It is very similar to making a cartoon. Kids can
add noices, scenery, characters, and more!

11. reflection
Many students would love to do this. Many
times, writing short stories is boring. By using
online resources, it can be fun!
