3. 1A few days later Jesus entered Capernaum again
and it became known that he was at home. 2 So
many gathered together there that there was no more
space, even near the door. He was preaching the
word to them. 3 A paralyzed man was brought to him
carried by four men. 4 They were not able to get near
to Jesus because of the crowd so they removed the
roof above where Jesus was. When they had opened
it up they let down the mat on which the paralyzed
man was lying.
4. 5 When Jesus saw their faith he said to the paralyzed
man, “Son, your sins have been forgiven.
6 Some of the scribes who were sitting there were
thinking to themselves, “Why does this man speak
blasphemies. No one is able to forgive sins except
God.” 8 Jesus immediately knew in his spirit what they
were thinking and said to them, “Why are you thinking
these things in your heart? 9 Which is easier to say to
the paralyzed man, „Your sins are forgiven,‟ or to say
„Rise, take up your mat and walk?‟”
5. 10 Inorder that you might know that the Son of Man
has authority to forgive sins on the earth - he said to
the paralyzed man, 11 “Arise, take up your mat and go
home.” 12 He immediately got up, took up the mat and
walked out before them all causing everyone to be so
amazed that they gave glory to God saying, “We have
never seen anything like this.”

14. GETTING A FIX ON THE GOD-AGENDA
5 When Jesus saw their faith
he said to the paralyzed man,
“Son, your sins
have been forgiven.
15. HERE‟S WHAT I THINK GOD IS MAKING KNOWN
Wherever you are,
the challenge will be to look for
my agenda
rather than presuming your
agenda or their agenda.
My kingdom will come
and the gospel will be proclaimed
as you discover and represent
my agenda.
17. I would be able to discover the God agenda
in a given situation and
when I represented that agenda in what I said or did
the kingdom of God would come and
the gospel would be proclaimed.
