• 2.267 billion Internet users in the world,
including 1.016 billion in Asia.
• 45% of Filipinos connect to the Internet.
• 81% of the families of OFWs use the
Internet as primary communication
medium.

5. With the Internet:
Buyers and sellers have nearly unlimited
access to information, goods, and
services.
Delimitations have been removed on
geography, time zones, and, in some
cases, the need for a physical office.

6. Internet marketing can impact sales and
marketing efforts immediately.
A small business expands to reach a
national, or even an, international base
of potential customers.
Web-based sales know no international
boundaries.

7. Here is a copy of a message dated 8
September 2004 from my American-
Korean business partner and mentor.

9. He steered a virtual business involving
8 persons (including me), who were
staying in 4 different countries.
We succeeded in introducing products
from South Korea to U.S.A. mainly thru
email marketing.
