Football is the most popular sport in Poland. It is
played by children at school and even adults play it
when they have some free time. We are very proud of
our national team filled with international football stars
such as Robert Lewandowski from FC Bayern and
Wojciech Szczęsny who plays for Juventus FC. Our
biggest success was in 1982 when we finished third at
World Cup in Spain.

4. Handball
Handball isn't as popular as football in our country. It is mostly
played in western and central Poland. Our national team
finished third during last handball World Cup. The most famous
polish handball players are: Karol Bielecki, Sławomir Szmal
and Adam Wiśniewski.
